The original Hellsing had such an interesting soundtrack. They could've just gone for generic horror music but they really jazzed it up. Nice work on extending this theme!

i personally like the abridged more, not just because it has more going on in it but it feels to me theres a bit more character put into the making of each of them, as well as taking the time to put references for each character. but thats just my opinoin

Ultimate was better but it was less stylish less cool, then abridged started dropping and it felt like all the style from original with the visuals and story of ultimate, jokes were just the added bonus ;D.

I read the manga years ago and never watched the series. Then a friend of mine showed me the abridged series and i absolutely loved it. I decided to re-watch them today and went searching for the music he came out of the hotel room to. This and really chill and i very much enjoy it, thanks for making this.

I think pretty much the entire fandom can agree that the original had a better sound. Not to say Ultimate didn’t have a GOOD sound, but it sounded... exactly like what you would expect it to sound like. And there are so many other things that sound similar. But the original... that was UTTERLY unique.
Problems with the Old Hellsing? Boring, slow and no-bloody. It has good animation, good voice acting and one of the best OST on anime, but those elements didn't save a mediocre script. Those problems were fixed on Hellsing Ultimate, but it got the lack of a memorable soundtrack. For those reasons Hellsing Ultimate Abridge is the perfect anime. It has the best of both worlds. Thanks for this TedTalk.

I think the best way to listen to this is to start at 2:30 to 3:07, then skip to 4:45. It reduces the anxiety of waiting 3 minutes for the guitar to start.
And there was me watching the Abridged series, then listening to Alucard's theme, THEN thinking "wouldn't it be lovely if someone had extended the first two segments", and lo and behold! Much obliged!

Problems with the Old Hellsing? Boring, slow and no-bloody. It has good animation, good voice acting and one of the best OST on anime, but those elements didn't save a mediocre script.
Those problems were fixed on Hellsing Ultimate, but it got the lack of a memorable soundtrack.
For those reasons Hellsing Ultimate Abridge is the perfect anime. It has the best of both worlds.

I thought this was the original and I was totally ready to jam out then the lyrics just never came in and when I finally saw the title I realized I was duped -- WHY IS THE LOOP SO CLEAN PLS
I think the best way to listen to this is to start at 2:30 to 3:07, then skip to 4:45. It reduces the anxiety of waiting 3 minutes for the guitar to start.

Ah, it's been forever since I watched this anime, I completely forgot about this song and how much I loved it! The anime wasn't great, but honestly I loved some of the music so much (including the theme song and this one).
