      What are the major differences between the Brave 3 and 4?

      @Saguaroshoes You should just transfer the grip pattern from your Vitality lll or at least similar. That grip pattern is insanely good. Wish your other offerings like the Forestep had that same grip pattern.

    I am sorry to hear that those boots didn't work out for you guys. I think they look nice for a boots. Footwear is very very Expensive now. I spend over $1,400 dollars on Footwear for Christmas this year for 6 of my boys & my Granddaughter . $200.00 dollars for some shoes to cover your feet 🦶 is crazy man. What happened to shoes that was under a $100.00 dollars? I rather buy me a pair of flip flops 🩴 for $50.00 dollars & wear them all year long cuz that what i do right now since I can't wear shoes. I can't believe how the boots don't keep your toes warm. Those boots should keep your feet 🦶 warm doing the winter time. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this. I hope you guy's have a good weekend.

    Even though it's a Chinese company, Saguaro is Spanish and pronounced "sawaro" like the cactus that grows in the Sonoran desert and is also their logo.

    I thought the toe box on these felt super narrow. Similar to Vivobarefoot boots.
    Also, vegan microsuede (microplastic) and the spooky chemical waterproofing turned me off.

      Does it have the same outsole as the 3? Cause if it does I'd avoid it, hands down the worst outsole we've ever tried on a hiking boot.

    I love my Xero Ridgeways, so I'd agree that it's worth the extra $30-$40. I've look at Saguaro's site and I thought maybe I'd try their dress/casual shoes since I hardly ever dress up and don't want to pay big money for barefoot dress shoes. The rest of their stuff doesn't interest me.

    Any plans on reviewing the Vivobarefoot Tracker Textile FG2s?

      They have been the most difficult company for us to get a hold of so far haha we not to work with a lot of their offerings but they’re also on the more expensive side so we can’t really justify just buying them out right

    Thanks for doing this review! Ive been considering getting a pair to save money over getting a pair of Ridgeways or Outlanders. I dont think the money saved will be worth it!
    Out of interest, do you think im on the right track going for the Outlander over the Ridgeway? The Outlander just look so cool, they would fit my brief of wanting something i can wear on rough terrain as well as with jeans around town. Ive also struggled to find a bad word said about them. The Ridgeways look solid, but im not sure how good they would look in a more casual setting, and ive read that they are a bit stiff/ non barefoot?

      Definitely go watch our review of the ridgeway. I have a review of the Outlander on my other channel Severshoots. Go check it out. The Outlander will win that battle all day every day. Go for the Outlander. And use our link when you grab em 😂 please. They’re on sale this weekend 🤷🏻‍♂️

    barefoot boots dont hold up compared to their normal boot counterparts. You just dont get as many miles out of barefoot boots and thats why people say they are too expensive.

    • @sonsofsever
      @sonsofsever  7 месяцев назад +2

      Agreed! Unfortunately I think it just comes with the territory. Less material under foot means you're gonna wear it out sooner

    • @andrewshroyer8532
      @andrewshroyer8532 7 месяцев назад

      That's why I'm going to be curious how many miles I get out of the boulder grip, since the rubber seems more sturdy and less room for wearing down. But overall I definitely get it.

    • @ConciseCabbage
      @ConciseCabbage 7 месяцев назад +2

      You can have a barefoot boot with a thick sole. You just don’t have the ground feel, but you can still have the wide toe box and zero drop.

    • @sonsofsever
      @sonsofsever  7 месяцев назад

      @@ConciseCabbage it’s all about what you’re looking for. We agree. Zero drop and wide toebox are two of the biggest boxes to check. Stack height can be manipulated based on preference

    • @sonsofsever
      @sonsofsever  3 месяца назад +1

      Maybe. Probably not. So those aren’t boots. They’re “waterproof hiking shoes.” Not sure why they’re calling them the Brave 4… super weird. They literally just released the 3 😂 Saguaro makes no sense sometimes…

      @@sonsofsever tgey have a v5 of this shoe btw. It looks like it resolved at least two of your gripes including the material taking on water and becoming heavy. When they are back in stock I will let you know on the rest. On a side note I've bought their summer shoes, and Hobibear and Naturecontact and they are all very hard wearing and some of the most comfortable shoes I've worn. It's simply not worth paying twice as much for Vivo... or whatever . Imo. Also no nonsense design is refreshing.

    • @sonsofsever
      @sonsofsever  28 дней назад

      @@Justin-td4bb we’ve seen the five. It’s not really a boot anymore. And it still has the same outsole, which was by far my biggest issue with it. if they eventually come out with a brave variation that is still actually a boot and improves on the out then I will be interested again
