      I have a pair of the Ryan ankle boots and the Margot square-toed flats. I find both pairs comfortable; the boots have a slight heel, which is better for people with high insteps, like me. I have a wider foot, too, and found that both styles work.

      It was an awful experience. I ordered 3 pairs and didn’t receive them. I emailed them weeks later and they said NONE of them were in stock. I ordered and had a discount and now they want me to pick other shoes (no longer discounted). They have “no phone” to discuss this. It’s annoying.

    I would write back the company and tell them you want a credit for that amount. If they don’t credit you back that amount towards another pair of shoes, then never buy shoes from them again that is not right.

    So many influencers have praised how comfortable these shoes are and how they can walk around all day in them. I have very wide feet, so ordered the margot wide, and sized up a half size. If i were to order them again i would size up a full size, because they were not quite wide enough. They are fine for short outings, however i did not find them comfortable on days when i would be walking around for more than an hour. I probably would buy them again because of the range of colours, which are not readily available in traditional wide width shoes (not where i live anyway). I still love my new balance shoes more though.

    Great to see an unsponsored video. I received mine yesterday, I got the Margot 2 and Samantha loafers. I checked and double checked their sizing chart and with every other shoe brand I’m a 39 standard width and their chart also suggested that size but I’m so disappointed in them, they feel so tight and uncomfortable and really rub the backs of my heels. All the sponsored influencers say they’re just like wearing slippers but I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such painful shoes! Been in touch with them so let’s see what they say but right now I’m just really disappointed, especially since the delivery is slow and they’re so expensive! I’m shocked that you didn’t get refunded properly, that’s terrible. Greetings from the U.K. 😊🇬🇧

    Thanks so much for this video! I am also a barefoot shoes wearer. If you measure the girth my feet are not wide at all, but I need a lot of space in the toe box. This really helped. If this happens again, you can take such a shoe to a cobbler and get then to put it in a last and stretch the shoe to be wider. The reason it's tighter is because of all the stitching and the braids holding it in. definitely try stretching them. I've had shoes before that I almost gave up on, some Eccos and I removed the insoles and voilà. I've got narrower feet but those were very tight.
    Brands vary so much on the styles.
    Try wearing shoes at home in the evening when your foot is more swelled, and it will gradually give. Wearing a new pair of shoes for a full day is murder on the feet.
    (If you think doing paid returns is annoying try posting a return to Europe from Australia!)

    • @BridgeOfLifeStudio
      @BridgeOfLifeStudio  Год назад

      I am not willing to compromise on shoe comfort, so if it's painful to walk in, I am not willing to put in any effort to see if I can stretch a shoe. Especially because there are so many shoes that are comfortable right from the start.
      And yes, an EU return from Australia must be annoying too. I am from Europe and Vivaia is an Canadian brand, so I can immagine 😅

      @@MayuKira I was in barefoot shoes for 7 years. The most comfortable were Wildling sneakers and anything Feelgrounds. Xero's merry Jane's are good for a dressier option but avoid their leather Phoenix, they are beyond horrible. The leather is hard as a rock and ripped skin off my pinkie toes on the first wear. (had to run an errand on foot for work that involved walking 2 blocks). The loafers on Raum's site are found all around the bf sites, they are soft suede and mostly comfortable. Somewhat dressy. I never could find anything I liked dressier than Xero's merry janes but the Wildlings were by far the best. I never wanted to take them off.

    Make sure you follow their size guide. If you do, you'll be fine. I got the Mary Jane, and it's super comfortable, breathable fabric, you can wash them in the sink if you need, they are really easy to style. I have bought the navy, red, and green Mary Jane, and got lots of use. I sound say, I dont really care about sustainability. I mean we have human overpopulation in s America and Africa that makes sustainability very difficult. So Im not going to worry about it until they fix that.

      I am happy you like your Vivaia's 😊 I did follow their size guide. The first pair did not fit, the other pair did. But like I said in the review, I do have wide feet. If everyone would choose to do a little bit, that can already have a big impact.

    It probably depends on your foot shape. Everyone says their flats are as comfy as sneakers, but after wearing them for a day that was mostly driving and just a little bit of walking in stores that I parked immediately in front of, my feet were a mass of blisters and I was limping so badly I could hardly walk. I have a narrow foot with a high instep, so maybe I just have the wrong foot shape for these.
