@@BridgeOfLifeStudio very fun 😁
Any favorite autumnal activities or foods? Let me know!
Hello :) Just wondering how tall you are for reference? Thank you so much xx
Hi, I am 160 cm 😊
Love it! You look very pretty!! ❤
Thank you 😊
Wide duck feet here, I have found that shoes that are comfortable but cause blisters when new, will not last as long as shoes that don't cause blisters in the beginning. The blisters show that the shoes don't really fit, and will wear "funny" in the long term.
Does indyx have a limit when uploading items does anyone know?
No idea
The purple pants look amazing! And it's a shame the white top is so see through, it's so cute other than that ❤
Yes and yes 😜 I am already tempted to get other colors of both but I don't need it right now 😅
Have you ever tried Indigo Luna? How did you like it? And do you have any other favourite yoga brands?
Great! I will follow you.
Dankje Ria! 😊
Vivaia shoes didn’t work for me either. If they fit the front width of my foot, then the heel area was too loose. I tried a few styles and sizes but couldn’t find a good fit.
I hope you found something else that works for you
Another TY from me for your review. The fact that they stiffed you on refunding your money says that they are not an honest company 🤨. So I won’t be ordering from them though I had thought to buy a few pair. I’ll stick with my Vionic and Birkenstock brands 🥰. They are honest and reliable.
Here's our take on Why VIVAIA shoes are so popular 👉ruclips.net/video/d5X6yr0_UNA/видео.html
I have two pairs and loved them Very comfortable
Glad you love them 😊
i was interested in vivia but i ended up getting hobibears shoes. very comfy
I don't know those, I will take a look at them 😊
NOT a Canadian company … from Forbes Magazine, “Vivaia was launched a few years later, in 2020, by footwear veteran Marina Chen, who had a mission to create eco-friendly footwear with sneaker-like comfort. It’s now a wildly popular international e-commerce brand headquartered in China, with 10 retail stores (none yet in the US but the company has done pop-up shops).”
Then I was mis-informed but like I already said, I sure don't know everything about the brand
What ugly shoes !!😮
Do you like to travel carry on only?
As light as possible - enjoy your trip 😁
@jeffrey_369 Thank you, it was great 😊
@@BridgeOfLifeStudiovery curious about your experience!
I love mine. The first pair I got were the Margot 2.0. First time wearing for my daughter's wedding. She was getting married outdoors so I didnt want heels to get stuck in the lawn. I wore them for the first time that day. I wore them for over 12 hours without breaking them in. I had no problems, no blisters, no pain. I was able to wear my little no show stockings/socks. I do have a wide foot with bunions , which is why i picked this model. Ive since bought the Bibi, the Melia, and the sandals Maisa. The only ones that have given me issues are the Melia. If I'm at all retaining ware, I cant wear them;they actually made my foot bleed at the top near my bunion. It was the second time i wore them, the first time they were fine. I will tell you they do stretch, the more you wear them. I have returned a pair. It was the sandals. I decided to keep the smaller size. Customer service was freat. I did choose to return for store credit since they give you a credit for 110% of the original cost. They may not have refunded the difference since the Margots don't qualify for free shipping. The cost of the two may have evened out.
Glad to hear you love yours 😊
I bought a pair , looked great - ripped my feet to shreds...
That's so unfortunate. I hope you found something you love instead.
I have 11 pairs and are awesome
All different styles or fo you have a favourite style?
I have a pair of Vivaia boots (the Regina Pro) and they are super comfortable, however I do not have wide feet like you do. There are so many more styles now than when I bought mine about a year and a half ago. I love them.
I am glad you love your boots!
None breathable shoes are not for me
They are a knit material so they are not "none breathable". That said, they are also not the most breathable shoes I have worn either.
Vivaia is not a Canadian company. The company was founded in Shenzhen China.
From what I can find they were founded in the US but have offices around the world. That said, I certainly don't know everything about the brand.
I have a pair of Vivaia flats, and they are stylish and comfortable.
You can shop the pieces I own through my link linjer.co/shop... and get a special offer using my code "BridgeofLife" ✨ The code is only valid for a limited time so keep that in mind 😉
Your new dress is gorgeous on you. Perfect silhouette and great colour on you. I usually travel in autumn on vacation. Canada is mostly trees so seeing the fall colours is nice to see when driving.
Thank you! And are you traveling anywhere fun this fall?
@@BridgeOfLifeStudio We are travelling as I write this! We are travelling the East Coast of Canada- New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We will also cross Quebec on our way back to Ontario.
Am I right - these shoes look as if they are a woven fabric - so they will not be waterproof? Footwear that is not waterproof is not suitable for me, as it can rain quite a bit here!
They are actually a knit fabric, but you are right, not waterproof.
They do have some that are water repellent! Not many.
Hi, I can’t believe anyone would wear plastic shoes. Plastic shoes means sweaty feet. It may be less if you wear socks but plastic doesn’t breathe.
Because they are knit, they actually do breathe.
Because they are a knit fabric, they actually do breathe.
Great review. I have a wide foot and high arch and can never wear shoes that go high over the top of my foot. That style never works for me. It is beautiful and great for narrow feet.
They look good in the adverts but for me they were the weirdest fit. I tried the boots first which were so tight around the ankle they could have fit a flamingo's leg. Having nearly broken my ankle getting them on they were so large and long in the foot that they flapped around like a clown's shoe. I then tried the casual Margot shoe and the V shape at the front nearly cut my foot in half. The red mark on my foot was so deep and hurt like hell. So it was a definite NO from me.
Ah, too bad that was your experience. I hope you found something you love instead.
I have wide-ish feet and high arches and have learned over the years that the style of shoe of the first one you tried is not often going to work for me. Those are better for people with narrower feet. I have found shoes like that that work, but more often they will be too tight across. At this point I will only buy those if I'm able to try them on in a store and make sure they will be comfortable. Too high a probability that they won't fit to order them online and have all the hassle of returns etc.
Exactly. And if you manage to break into them it will look dodgy. Some trends are just not meant for every feet. Or bodies.
I enjoy Viviana shoes. I like the styles, love the colors, and find them comfortable
Any favourite models?
Definitely you should email the company and tell them you haven’t yet received the refund for the difference in price between the two styles of shoes. You are entitled to receive it.
I came across Curly Girl by accident. I have wavy hair, and it never occurred to me that I could get it fairly curly. I’m in the U.S., so don’t know what all is available to you. But, I use a moisturizing shampoo, and no conditioner. Conditioner makes my hair too flat. Then I use a foam that’s for curly hair. For me it’s TREsemme. I distribute a fair amount, about 6 golf ball sizes. Then I use a gel. My favorite is DevaCurl gel, but it’s expensive. My next favorite is Bed Head, it’s more of a cream. Still on the more expensive side. However, Aussie has an inexpensive curling gel, and that works pretty good. Your hair is cute, but I honestly think you could get a lot more wave/curl. I wash my hair every 3 days, but I could probably do 4. I can easily refresh my hair with some water. I also use a defuser to dry my hair. Allowing it to air dry doesn’t work for me.
Thank you for the tips! Yes my hair is still getting more wavy as it's getting used to my styling it this way and the products I use make a HUGE difference. I am still playing around with what works for me. I am curious about trying a foam so I might try that too 😃
I have three pairs and they seem good. My favorite shoes are flip flops!😂
I am glad you like yours 😊
There is a new version (2024) of the square toed basic flat, supposedly with a softer insole.
I personally haven't tried those so I can't say anything about them but they did look really good.
I think they are really expensive for what is a plastic shoe. A fad. I stick to leather as leather gives and does not make your feet sweat.
I understand that but as someone who has ethical reasons for not buying leather, a recycled plastic does seem like a good option.
I believe i'm autistic. This isn't something that i'm just saying. 7 years ago I got tired of feeling like i didn't fit in anywhere and I started to research. At the time i didn't know what autism was. When I started to read and watch videos about neurodiversety it was like reading and watching stuff about my own life. Anyway, I went to my GP and said that I think that i might autistic. I quickly got an appointment, about two weeks later. Little did i know that the place i went to was known for not doing propper tests and that the doctors there was known for being unproffesional and had little knowledge on girls with autism. The answer I got in the end of all the testing was that I had to low IQ score to be autistic.. Even if I checked all the other boxes. Anyway, now as an adult i've tried to get a second opinion but i get turned down no matter how many times I try.. I just find it pretty frustrating how the system can turn down people that are just looking for answers. The only option I have is to pay a huge amount of money to go to a private place with actually professional people. It costs alot of money but I think it'll be worth it. I just want to know myself better. Also, my apologies for the spelling. I have dyslexia.
That is so frustrating! I think I was lucky with the place I got tested since they had a lot of experience with women on the spectrum. And don't worry about spelling, fellow dyslexic here 🙋🏼♀️
I have had good experiences with the Melia and Aria flats. I actually just purchased a second pair of the same Melia ones, my 3rd order in 3 years. I had a good experience with their customer service. Imo, Vivaia makes shoes for style-conscious people with big shoe collections, who have a lot of shoes and actually wear all of them, depending on their outfit (as opposed to hoarders who hoard shoes and things they never wear). If you are the kind of minimalist person who only really wears 2-3 pairs or shoes per year, I wouldn’t suggest Vivaia. I would instead suggest: Doc Martens, Birkenstocks, and Nike.
*pairs of shoes
I’m late coming to this video but would still like to comment. My foot is narrow but with bunions. I purchased a pretty pair of flats which for the most part fit me well and are the correct size, however due to the recycled material, the back of the shoe is quite hard and cut into my heels badly despite having the anti blister pads. They caused bleeding blisters after walking a short distance. I couldn’t exactly return them with my blood in the heels.Sadly I won’t be a repeat customer.
Ah that's too bad. I hope you found something else that works for you instead 😊
@@BridgeOfLifeStudio I’m still looking ☺️
You could look into barefoot shoes (I love Feelgrounds ruclips.net/video/z9w16YenDbQ/видео.htmlsi=yc6QbO_NRUQstYRh ) and UIN Footwear ruclips.net/video/ZcbUXvGvmao/видео.htmlsi=D2J1ztrjFfcpl7dT . I included these video's so you have a place to start. Though I immagine with bunions you mostly need the toespace and some give in the material right?
@@BridgeOfLifeStudio thank you I will have a look
My feet look just like yours…same size too!🤣 Thanks for reviewing the shoes
Hahaha, you are welcome 😜
I tied the sq toe flats. They rubbed the back of my heel skin off
I hope you found something that works for you.
I hate them! The seams land right on top of my big toe joints and make them ache like a SOB! Couldn’t even walk in them after 30 minutes. Too loose in the heel and too tight over the toe box. Wanted to like them, but just not the right fit for me.😢
I hope you found something you love instead
Mostly food, music and being in nature 🍂
Any specific foods?
@@BridgeOfLifeStudio whatever I feel that resonates with my body’s consciousness 😋
Is there anything you like to do to get in the mood for autumn?
What I don’t like about Vivaias is their poor longevity. I bought their Aria 5s in multiple pairs and the tip got worn out no mater what I did. Once that happened I got a hole at the tip😢, and because of how they’re made you can’t repair them at the cobbler. It’s a shame but they’re like disposable versions of actual leather ballet flats. So I don’t recommend them and they are totally overpriced! I still wear my Arias around the house even with holes, cuz they were so expensive 😂. Regarding the width, I have also wide feet with high volume and narrow heels (9.5-10cm width, 24.5cm length) and Aria5 model size 39 is a bit constricting at my toebox. They feel better if I take the insoles out (cuz my feet are high volume). If you’re into classy barefoot shoes, and you have similar feet to mine I totally recommend to look at Peerko brand. Otherwise, Next forever comfort leather shoes has some good options from time to time. Any questions let me know, I tried a lot of brands! 😂 I find that wide feet shoes don’t fit me well because of my narrow heels, so I had lots of trials and errors and happy to share my learnings😊
I don't know those brands but I will have a look at them. I personally live Feelgrounds, they are barefoot shoes and soooo comy!
Great style but not comfortable for me! Over priced too.
I hope you found something you love instead 😊
Thank you for this honest video, I have seen many influencers advertise them and none as honest as you, especially about the sizing which I have found confusing on the site as I am a size 35 in every shoe I buy yet using their scale I am not! And like you with the return experience which by the way I appreciate your honesty about- having researched people’s experiences with return to the company, many were similar to yours and this has put me off yet I need a comfortable shoe for my work and more importantly for my feet- so your video has been most helpful- would love to know say in four or so weeks of wearing what you still think about the Margot shoes… and oh blisters not nice
I haven't been wearing them a lot this past year because of a foot injury. I currently wear mainly barefoot shoes, they are just the most comfortable for me right now. Another comfortable option would be UIN. (Look for the ones with a wider toebox) I also did a video on them. However I wish I would have sized up in them because since the injury something changed in my feet and now my beloved UIN Denia shoes are too small 😭
I figured they didn't have enough stability for my feet either. I also have hip, knee and ankle problems. Thanks for your review. It's helpful. I hope you can get a refund.
For me the stability is not much of a problem since I mostly wear barefoot shoes. But they don't offer much support, just a little cushioning in the styles I tried. But I hope you find something you love 😊
