Living here my whole live this is a decent sized shark, we mostly see bull sharks dusky hammerhead and sometimes we have a friendly white that cruise in the area but no harm there are to many dolphins and super pods in the area so a lot of shark don't come around. Also come check out the charters they take you to see many dolphins put you on some big fish and nice relaxed cruises.

Shallow water, outgoing tide, He's just trying to get warm. The Gulf temps are still a little chilly in March at Destin.

This is so ironic because jaws 2 was filmed in destin fort Walton and in Pensacola Which are all in Florida

I was there for the first time in July, swam under the bridge and there was 50 boats out there forming an island?. I guess not in March?

that is a big bull i would say at least 500 lbs.
I damn sure wouldn't say it qualifies as a "monster" shark...no bigger than many of the other sharks that are always being spotted in the area.

Emerald Coast Kayak Fishing i never claimed to be sn expert by any means nor was my comment intended to make you upset..i just meant what i said..though its not a tiny shark it just doesnt look any bigger than any if the other sharks that tend to be seen in this general area. The shores that were covered underwater. The crab island. I'm not sure if it was 30 years ago or 10 years ago. Crab Islands used to be a land, but it's buried underwater and that's creepy.

Golden_ Moreno i had a polarizing filter on but the water was pretty much the sane color. It was just this color from the rain. I live in the area and ive seen it brown, blue and green. Just depends on the rain and sun.
