Loved your tutorial,. It ain't cheating at all. Just another efficient way to get your work done. Some artists get bent out of shape seeing this, but were professionals and need to get our work done as quickly as possible.
Excellent tips for the beginner. Brilliant idea of caricaturing on the images first, and then caricaturing looking at the images. Thanks a million. God bless you.
@TheCartoonLoon Me either honestly... I don't remember the last time I logged into the forum... But I do know the convention will be in Jackson Florida this year. I am really interested in going, but my schedule of events is filling up pretty quick... I may have to skip.
How long have you been drawing for? I have been all my life I’m 16 now but I really want to getting better do you think now is a good time to practice this kinda stuff?
Oh absolutely! Anyone can learn as long as you set your priorities to succeed. Age doesnt matter at all and you can absolutely rock caricature if you set your heart on getting it right.
you are quite talented...and also a very gud person...I am saying that seeing u reply to your comments ...most people don't bother.... anyways complements and good regards from india
@the1janitor Exactly, I would never actually use this as a real technique, because you are basically a tracer who embellishes on things. But yes, working off a picture and seeing those areas of exaggeration will really take you a long way.
@timmichaelarts how did you import that picture as a layer. I keep trying to upload one of my scans but it always gets put as the background and that doesn't work.
With a lot of practice, you can. Only thing that is required is desire to succeed. I want to do a part 2 to this video because believe it or not, there is a bit more of a science to caricature than I showed here.
Oh my goodness... This was so long ago I have no idea anymore :0)) Honestly these days it varies. I prefer pressure sensitivities and hard lines when it comes to inking. Then Transparent lines and soft edges when sketching.
(translated with Google Translator)

great work. I think drawing over a photograph like that should be a good way to train your brain what to look for.
Excellent tips for the beginner. Brilliant idea of caricaturing on the images first, and then caricaturing looking at the images. Thanks a million. God bless you.

So you're a member of the ICSA too. :)

Nope, Wacom Cintiq 12wx in Photoshop CS5
Great work, but the background music is kinda distracting.
Non è più comodo fare la caricatura ,sfruttando l'opzione di photoshop "fluid" e poi procedere col tratto a matita?

smite!
Contrary to popular belief, even so called "tracing" isn't "easy". Everyone cannot do it!
Pfff
this is nothing like art you're tracing !!
