"The LA Film Commission wanted to charge us $750 per day to film. We ignored them and filmed any way. So should you." That's the Spirit ol' boy! Well done!!
I would love to see more of this. So many people make these fan films and some are really good but you almost never get a sequel or ending to the story.
I enjoyed this immensely! The story line is cute and original without being over the top or unrealistic to be seen in the Fallout Universe like some other fan films. I could definitely see all the OC's as NPC's in the game lore. For the limited budget the effects, locations and costumes were well done. The acting was good. I would like to see more following Chuck and his friend's story. Good job!
Nice job Philip. When I saw the guy eyeball Pete's leg and then pass up the opportunity..... totally made it ok when he takes it from Pete later. Love that last joke.
Really enjoyed this. Doesn't try to dig into the story of any of the game's, which I like a lot. Completely original story and idea, I really love that. Liked the character, liked the robot, liked Pete. Incredibly well paced, able to put in a lot of the information needed in a way that isn't forced into the viewers face, like the character's illness, which I personally think is rad-related because of the geigar counter and not taking his hat off to greet Pete, and also his lack of interest in the mentats. Would you ever plan on making a sequel? I'd love to see the rest of the story.
We need a mod for this guy like we had with the storyteller, its one of the very few fan mades who actually fit to fallout, especially fallout new vegas.
Not gonna lie, I've been really enjoying all the fan made fallout movies and shorts that I've been seeing, yours included. Awesome job guys, I really want to see more!
This was a really well put together film, I'm glad I had the opportunity to see it. The main character is likeable, the story is hinted at and not forced down our throats. I'd love to see more of this stuff, keep up the awesome work.
@Just Your Average Goy Yup. Could you imaging how long and to what extent one might tolerate a companion under these circumstances who consistently whines and complains ? LOL
Wow ! In the first 2 minutes or less I was having a 'failure to identify whether it was live or CG HD the opening sky shot was eerily unreal, the actor looked CG and the sidewalk-skeleton/corpse looked just like the non-interactive street-corpses right from the F4 ! BRAVO !!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Man, a REALLY well done film! The jokes were perfect. Corny, but still funny. I'd love to see more of this pair. Or just more films from you. Incredible.
Excellent fan film, very enjoyable, please make more. I wish the props had been better, but you can't have everything when people are paying out of their own pockets for a labor of love.
At times like these, 'Trust' would be a luxury. I've seen a lot of apocalyptic themed movies, I already knew that cowboy dude would be an a**hole at first glance. LOL You wouldn't even know if the people you'd greet there is a normal one, or already a cannibal. Sheesh.
Don't know what I was expecting, but that was nice. Very well done and fun to watch. Many people don't really capture the fallout feel in fan films, but this one is nice. The city could have been edited to look a little more destroyed in the shot where we see everything, and a little damage to the garage would have been a nice touch as well as making Chuck and Pete look a little dirtier. But the detail of the cracked lens on the guy's glasses was a neat little detail. It has got some small flaws here and there, but so does every other fan film. This one is particularly nice because it doesn't have to fall under a fallout fan film. It's not about an NCR Ranger, or a BOS Paladin, or the soul survivor, or a synth that's just doing what they do. It's just a fun little post-apocalypse film about a guy trying to fix his robot friend that has been placed under the fallout category and it doesn't need to be anything else. All in all, it's a fun little story with decent effects and characters. Chuck's jokes were funny and not too dry. Solid 7/10 would watch again. Edit: just some general edits and minor changes.
Fallout. Where you can build a house out of old broom handles , but not remove the dozens of 200 year old corpses laying around everywhere. Not even to shove them into a corner somewhere where you won't step on them everyday or have them laying in the garden or water supply...
Nice job. I see you have city hall humps just like us on the E Coast. I always wanted to do a FO4 video on where half the NPC's go in later game even though you have 80+ happiness in your settlements. Like a bar scene or something. With the protagonist ringing a bell in the back ground. "Hey com'on , I know their should be 12 of you here ?!" "You've got 348 protection !" You know how long it took me to collect & build all that ?!?" "I'm not going to assign you anything, I just want to see your faces." NPC - Uuuuuugh
Fantastic work! I sure hope you guys make more! I'm particularly fond of the LA FU at the end, just great! If you decide to crowdfund for the sequel, I'm in.

That last joke make me actually chuckle out loud 😂
Impressive cinematography and editing. Quite professional for under $2000. You must own a bunch of your equipment.
And I had fun.
This Pete fellow doesn't seem to be all that easy
Hardcore Pete
@@Lordborgoth666 made my day
Difficult Pete never did know when to retire from prospecting....
So that happened and stopped being a prospector, damn easy pete in his past was hardcore pete.
Just keep in mind that Easy Pete's Karma is neutral. He could turn on Goodsprings at any moment.
I love how the humor is just right for Fallout, along with the characterizations, unlike many other Fallout fan films out there
Thank you so much!
Ladies and gentlemen, the winner for latest comment is...ME! Nice work, and thanks for the upload!
I would love to see more of this. So many people make these fan films and some are really good but you almost never get a sequel or ending to the story.
Thanks so much! We'd love to do a sequel too, and if we can crowdfund the budget, we might do just that.

Love the robot, I got your back not that I have any choice killed me 😂 good effort!
Im glad to see that people still love fallout enough to make a fan film about. Also this film is pretty good my dude!
Thank you!

Thanks so much for the nice review! We would love to do a sequel, and might just do that if we can get the money together. Thanks again!
I need to see them as wandering NPCs in a Fallout game or something. Also, for a budget of under $2000, this is really well done!
We need a mod for this guy like we had with the storyteller, its one of the very few fan mades who actually fit to fallout, especially fallout new vegas.
Nuka Break fits.
Heavily impressed; correct aesthetic, excellent visuals. It really fits the Fallout theme, well done
THAT WAS BRILLIANT! I'm really impressed. All the actors did well and I loved the Robot. Well done!
I love it. XD No cringe, no overstaying its welcome, and just enough to leave you satisfied as it is.
How has this not gotten a million veiws! This is awsome!!
very good ... love the fallout series and you captured it well
Much appreciated!
Simple, efficient, well done. That’s the kind of short stories I wanna watch about fallout. You absolutly did find the spirit of it

Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.
It really does feel like a 50s film with a Fallout “Futuristic” setting
Good job for a budget of $2000
Thanks so much!
Glad this came in my recommendations. Great short film!
I loved how there was not much of any worth in locker 76

Loved the detail with Al’s broken glasses.

Kyle Cartwright thanks for the kind words!!
Very nice. Very much a commercial movie like! Best work I have seen till date.
This was great. Love the robot's jokes lol. Well done with the Fallout atmosphere!
great job guys
Pretty nice and kind film, thanks. Sure want to see sequel.
Wonderful! Loved it! I hope to see more of Chuck and Al... But, such is life.
Amazing, such good work man, wanna see what you could do with a bigger budget! Story wise it was amazing and good touch with all the bits of music.

Epic! Pretty new-ish to fallout, and it's so awesome to enjoy the creative work people put into fan films.
Scavver looks like a young John Barrymore Dix. I approve. Nicely done short!
Eyyy fellow deathlands fan
That you managed it on such a low budget makes it that much more impressive. Nice story, too.
Wow, that was great! Funny, thoughtful, and really well done! Keep it up!!!
lkreyche :) Thank you so much!
This needs a part two.
That robot would be a great companion in a Fallout game! Great film!
Very professional man!! Congratulations to all the team! I wish one day I could get to do something like that
