Hey Guys! I decided to Re-Edit Tales of a Junktown Ranger to try and fix some of the story and combat errors I had made back when I originally wrote, shot and edited this. I started making this series when I was 14/15 years old, and I figured now that It's been about 7 or 8 years it is time for a refresh of my work. Either way, I'm going to make another Fallout Film with funds or without them; I made this one without any funds. All I know is WE NEED MORE COMBAT IN THIS and that will happen. Anyways, if you read this thank you for supporting The Junktown Ranger.
Hahaha I remember this! Still as good as ever! I have a few projects I'm currently working on but if you ever need either a Grip, 1st AC, Gaffer, DP, or even just an extra hand in Austin, and if I'm available I'd love to help out! Either way, I look forward to seeing more of your work!
This is excellent news! I was big fan of that series and I'm glad to see you're still around and interested in Fallout fan filmmaking. I was hoping that with the new Amazon Fallout series, we'd get a renewed interest in folks making Fallout content. Please post your crowdfunding link everywhere when you get it going and thanks for all your hard work for us fans!
@@slister1911 Thank you so very much! I'm so happy to hear you stuck around!! The pilot for Fallout: Rad Fever is expected to be released Mid-August!! I will 100% be posting a crowdfund video with links to the indiegogo!
Amazing work Brother. The fallout games always gave me this feeling of happiness and a longing feeling as I never want the game to end. Your episode here has done the same. It gives me that same feeling in my heart that longs for more. I cannot wait to see more of your work. Keep it up!
I happened your film by chance and I am completely blown away! That opening shot of the Ranger walking amidst the open wilderness is a perfect start! The Ranger has a fantastic costume and the actor is very talented! Your camera angles really help bring out the desolation and isolation of the apocalypse in the Fallout games! The coloring is great too. This definitely goes up to the top of my list of favorite fan films! Great work, I can't wait to see more of your art!
I love the fallout community, Soo much passion iv never seen Soo many movies from fans in my life and they aren't bad to watch at all. Well done I appreciate your work. Watching the entire series.
That means the world to me!! I tired everything I could to make Fallout a reality, and hopefully in the future with more videos in this series I can do it again!
I come back a couple times a year to watch this. Such a great love letter to Fallout. Very cool thing these folks did. More fans need to see this. Thanks for the awesome watch 😎
Thank you very much! I recently made the original first season of this series public again. I want to bring this series back to life again and bring back the Junktown Ranger. Be sure to check out Fallout: Rad Fever, our newest fan film!
@@DigitalBlenderStudios That I did 😎 enjoyed that as well. I may or may have not drooled over all those PIP Boy models 😅. Really hope to see more in the future. Appreciate what you and the crew do!
Thank you very very much!! We have a new one coming out called “Rad Fever” in mid August! Hopefully everyone will enjoy it enough to help me crowdfund a series on IndieGoGo!
This is so cool, me and a few friends released our fallout film around 2 months ago, except we didn’t have a desert or a huge budget to work with. The way you’ve recreated the feel of the games is really well done. Something I wish I was able to do more of with mine but we had like no budget, but anyway awesome job!
Thank you very much!! This was only a $250 budget because I already had the equipment, actors and took a road trip to the locations. This was filmed totally guerrilla style! I made all the props and costumes out of random stuff I had around do I didn't spend anything on that! Anything is possible with the right people and equipment.
Yeah, when this was filmed I was 15. This was a Middle School until High School passion project. 2013-2017 was the initial filming period. This is a re-edit of the original series released back then.
@@alvinleong1251 Just used what I had. One of my Uncle’s old greens. That’s what I could use when I was 15 back when I made this. I wish there was a lore explanation for you.
Idk about this film i mean has Caesar somehow pushed NCR out of the Mojave? Cause the BoneYard is deep in NCR territory it's where the FotA(Followers of the Apocalypse) have their University
Pip-Boy’s can be purchased from various vendors throughout the wasteland. (Ex: Mick & Ralph’s). Also, I chose to have the Junktown Ranger receive one somehow. Edit: Can’t it also be circumstantial? Like being gifted one? (Ex: Doc Mitchell)
Cool man thanks. Check out Rad fever coming out late this month. Btw I wrote this when I was 15 so dialogue has improved immensely. This is a re-release.
@@DigitalBlenderStudios Heeeey dude That's fucking awesome. I'll definitely subscribe. I look forward to it Bro. P.s. talk about effort! Glad to hear you're still at it! I went to film school years ago and was on A.V 8th-12th grade but I fell out of it as I'm sure you've seen before.

I would have added a rough sheriff cowboy hat in black with the outfit and then it would be 10/10

Hey Baron happy to see you're still working on this! Been wishing you the best since you left VHS!
Great storyboarding, great writing. Only criticism I would give is on lighting and a bit of weird audio. Pretty solid fan film guys
Just watching this now and this is great man
not bad.

MARVELOUS! Captures the look & feel of the original games. Beautiful work.

Have you seen the movie "Tank Girl"?It's Fallout based for sure.
Love Tank Girl; used to read the graphic novels as a kid
Sry Red looks way to young for his part. Audio to low at end.

You’re close. House pushed them away. It’s part of a lore I never released because this film (originally a series in 2014-2017), was never continued.
Owens river valley?
I filmed a good portion of it in Bishop CA. Good eye!
Why would HE have a pip boy??

What's Laura Lewis's @ for casting purposes?
Hahah, that is my mom; she doesn't act regularly otherwise I would share her info! She just acted in this for me as a favor.
