I love how absolutely human this is. He starts off as a patient patriot, but as time goes by, the monotony starts making him irritable. Love all the attention to detail, too. Thanks for making and sharing!
There was an episode very similar were a man is traped inside a simulation of some sorts were their is no one in the town but him and at the end we see that it's just a government experiment.
This is definitely underrated. It shows how evil vault tech really are in a really good way. Also shows how far they’re willing to go for their experiments and how you slowly deteriorated over time. As a fallout fan, I really enjoyed this. Great work! You just earned a new subscriber!
Juding by how tired he was, and how much time had passed according to the calendar? I bet they kept giving him less and less time to sleep until failure was garunteed. Although the opposite, longer and longer between button presses, until its every few years and a button for every Vault member and they forget *could* be an interesting Fallout introduction. Your vault finally fails the event because of circumstances making you fail, and so you're ejected out into the wasteland that you think you caused.
Lol, really? I suggest looking over my playlist of Fallout Fan Films on my channel. This one made it into my playlist, but there are far better fan films in there than this one. For example, "Fallout: Nuka Break".
Great film! It reminded of that old TV show I used to watch as a kid, called "Lost". They had exactly same plot, person in the bunker had to enter the cancelation code every single day, in order to "cool off" magnet so the earth magnetic field would not be thrown off balance. Such a great show!
This was really good. I love the attention to detail in the objects. I did notice the American flag in the VALTS film was the actual US flag and not the Fallout version. Fallout US flag is 12 stars in a circle surrounding the 13th for the 13 commonwealths
mikeyiskuma actually, the use of the regular flag is correct in this case. The switch to the commonwealth system in the fallout universe took place in the early 1960’s. Seeing that this starts in January 1950, the switch to the commonwealth system/flag, hadn’t taken place yet.
@@ronakchakraborty3207 Actually the flag is still wrong, it shows the US flag with 50 stars, in 1950 they were actually still using the flag with 48 stars. That didnt change until 1959, and if you follow the fallout timeline, that US flag with 50 stars would have been an extremely rare sight.
Steve Hills you’re correct, but if I were to argue at all, I suppose I would say that at no point can we actually count the exact number of stars. I would argue that, should we give the video the benefit of the doubt, the flag shown was a 48 star flag... but that’s kind of a stretch
Great video. Great attention to detail. A true, real life recreation of the Fallout world. Well done. Spot on. Curious though? Why was the calender year 1950? Definitely not a criticism. I’m wondering about the significance and if I missed a plot detail. Again, outstanding. Looking forward to your next project in the Fallout universe. Thanks for your hard work.
Michael Hovsomething thanks! We are glad you enjoyed it! We aren’t ready to reveal why we chose 1950 for our calendar year in the vault. If you look at the check at the end of the film it will give you an idea of the timeframe. Stay tuned as we have more we plan to do!
@@vault45 I was thinking it was out of nostalgic value, since humanity in the 2070s in the fallout lore seems to whimsically immerse itself in 1940s/50s pop culture, listening to music of that era, and using technology that looks like it might've been designed specifically in that retro manner!!!! I think it might've been because in the 2070s, everyone would've been fearful of the nuclear war, and that 1940s/50s music and pop culture might've made them feel disconnected from that, trying to immerse themselves in a better time, so to speak!!!!!! A classic case of old world blues!!!!!
I love our community of dedicated folks who out of nothing but love for the game make these short stories that only make the world seem so much bigger and ever brings colour to possibly the best video game story. People talk about a fallout movie all I have to say is I hope it will be made with the supervision of the fans and fan content creators. Great job.
My friend once asked me what if vault tec made a special vault where everybody thinks that world is destroyed but in reality no. This video is something like this. And this make this S.P.E.C.I.A.L
