Same Lara Croft version as you! I made a pick axe out of cardboard and bought a cheap kids plastic gun (before I knew about priming so the paint flicked off throughout the comic con!)... One day I'd love to revisit it and make all the accessories this time round!
@@MISSCHARLIEART how funny that we did the same first cosplay. My pickaxe was foam but also have a kids plastic gun that I had planned on repainting but never did. My holster is only half finished as well.
@@AstrocyteCosplay It was for my first Supanova in Brisbane in I think 2005, and while my costumer wasn't fabulous, I found that the reaction from other was pretty neat and I grew addicted to Cosplay pretty quickly haha
Cool channel idea! I go to a lot of sci fi and comic conventions (well, before the world went crazy) and love seeing all of the costumes. I dressed up years ago, but I leave it to the pros now :)
Thanks for the feedback! We have been having a lot of fun with it and planned to go to our first con this year but 2020 had other ideas. We love all things sci fi and comic so we are in good company 😊
Thanks for the feedback. Do try and make the editing interesting for you! How did your FFH suit turn out? Did you finish it? Puff paint is a good one to make the webbing really pop if you want to give that a go one time too.
Both great choices! We obviously have done Ant-Man but Scarlet Spider is one on our list also! When you do these make sure you share with us how you went! Can't wait to see them 🙂
It's a great hobby so definitely try saving up. You could always do something like the Spider-Man homemade suit first as you could pick up the items for this pretty cheap if you just wanted to try it out.
~ QUESTION FOR COSPLAYERS ~

Woah! The editing is amazing! I was trying to make my own costume off a FFH Suit by getting a black marker and making the webbing black!

My frist cosplay was the Iron spider of Infinity War 😁😁
That's an AWESOME choice!! Where did you get your suit from?
Scarlet spider or ant-man

@@AstrocyteCosplay I will if I save up enough money to cosplay

@@AstrocyteCosplay yeah I think I tried that before for a Halloween costume but I didn't know much about spider man cosplay and the tips and tricks
