First time visitor to your channel, fellow kiwi living abroad, peanut butterer as well, and now hooked on your channel. The connection to Mt Blanc got me, as its my big goal at the moment, phew.......
It was so fun bumping into you at the dinner in Chamonix. Seeing Veronica and the familiar scenery at TMB brought back memories for me. I’ve been in the shoes of lacking clarity in life. It was not a great feeling. I wouldn’t say I found clarity but while searching for it i learnt more about myself, I learnt to let go a lot and I learnt to remind myself to be grateful for that I have. And I feel content after going through such experience. Life is all about ups and downs. Enjoy riding the waves! Sending ❤😊
She's baaaaaaaack! 😊 Transitions home are hard for lots of us. I work with children, and teaching small people to cope with transitions is a big thing. e.g. transitioning from home to school, or from activity to activity. Many of us retain this difficulty or unease through adulthood. Preparation for transition and focusing on a new goal once you get there is key.The transition isn't the destination. The destination is the start of the next journey.

Physically, it's always kind of obvious to us where we are right now. Parallel to it is the travel of our "soul" with the body. But sometimes that awareness of where, what, when, how and why doesn't have to meet at the same time with our body. And then one day... 😊💚

This brought tears. This December 12 will be the 10 year anniversary of finishing my first thru hike. In anticipation of my next thru hike. I've been watching your videos on the TA. You are a wonderful person. Losing a parent will always hurt. now that time has passed for me I can find joy in seeing my dad places. We never watched winnie the pooh together but that dang bear reminds me of him. Big, comforting, and wise. Now I wear a pooh badge reel to work. Where I'm the most unsure of myself and my decisions, I have my dad close to me. I hope you can find comforts like that. Ive watched your videos from the beginning, I love the kind of story teller you are, if you ever end up in ohio I have a couch you can sleep on. As long as you don't mind a loving bernese mountain dog!

Hey ho!! So good to know that you have been in Portugal, I live near Peniche and I also hiked PCT in 2019, all the way SOBO. Mind is still away since that... Hope your hiking trips in 2023 have a lots of good feelings, fun, happiness.
How I missed this....the smile from ear to ear as I watch, the synapses firing as my eyes dart back and forth and my ears picking up as many sounds as they can. Fantastic....just fantastic, much love to you and yours.🤟

"Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life." What a great, meaningful message to end. The "filler episodes" have taken most of my 20s to understand the true meaning of this quote. (the journey even took me to Aotearoa once upon a time). Very moved by your work, well done mate!
Hiked the PCT last year. This was beautiful to watch and also hurt a lot. I miss being out there, I miss the hiker trash, I miss trail life. Your OG PCT videos where definitely part of the motivation to follow through on it but I didn't expect it to leave such a big hole in my heart afterwards. Time to transform my video footage into a story I guess.

When coming home, I fund it best to sleep somewhere familiar without distraction and sleep to your fill, then sit in the most comfortable chair on a porch with a view, coffee in hand and maybe a good smoke if it's your thing. Just relax and enjoy.

I hiked halfway of the PCT in 2019, anyone out there wanting to do it this is your inspiration. Also one thing I'm realizing now, 3 years after is you have to be prepared for it to change your life in unexpected ways the good and the bad, but it will be one of the best things you do in your life.

Hi Elina Bali have Mt Agung, and so many mauntain in Indonesia if you want a climb.
Well I still don't knwo what happens next. But as always, excellent editing, cinematography, great montage, great flow and pacing throughout the film. Elina exhibits a great talent for setting scenes and establishign a mood visually and with audio.
I know this feeling, it's so hard for me to get out of bed without being on a trip or planning the next trip (or three). 2020 was brutal!

I was missing your videos quite a lot, and even though I saw your PCT documentary/journal some time after it was poster (year and a half, 2 years maybe) but I found it a the right place and the right time. Those videos helped me battle a depression that I was going through, and got me out of my comfort zone to stuff that I never knew I was good at, never gave it a try, until I saw your channel and gave me the inspiration and insight I needed. So from the bottom of my heart, congratulations on your journey and thank you very much for sharing it, it may have a different effect on many other people, but for me, it was kinda of a swift kicked in the ass I needed to get myself centered

Hi Elina,
I just saw this latest video of yours and l just wanted to say a couple of things.
First, you've had more adventures in such a short amount of time while still so young than most people have had in their entire lifetime, myself included.
That is something to be proud as well as the fact that your adventures have inspired many others to fulfill their own dreams of going to places they never imagined they would have gone to before which includes myself because thanks to your videos l too have been inspired to do my own thru hike of the PCT and it's all because of my switching on the TV one day when l was on shift at the fire station l was assigned to and just happened to catch one of your videos. Needless to say, l was hooked after that. There are many hikersout there who have inspired others to thru hike, Darwin on the Trail, Whimsical Woman, Marmalade Outdoors, etc.
But it was your videos that were the original source for my desire to hike the PCT and l am grateful to you for that as well as the countless others who have been inspired by you to do the same.
