BDOguitar i cant get that good in 1 year like you did because guitar is my secondary instrument my primary instrument is violin and i focus on that more
I’ve been playing for only a year and have gone further than some RUclipsrs have in 3 so I’m hoping to be like you in 4 or so years because I’m learning quick and you’re the only RUclipsr to post a progress video and actually impress me, good job man
Hey! Thanks to people like you who post progress videos like this, I've been even more inspired to pick up my guitar and practice. Sometimes it feels like I'm getting nowhere when only comparing myself to the last day I practiced, which is even worse on a "bad day" cause you feel like you're slowly un-learning the guitar. But when I compare myself to how I was in a recording a year ago, it gives me a moral boost to just keep practicing. I didn't even realize I went from being unable to play a 3 string arpeggio slowly to playing more complex arpeggio chords on all 6 strings at decent speed in half a year, until I found a recording of my progress when I started. I encourage everybody who plays an instrument to do the same as this guy, it really helps!! Great playing!
You are an extremist! You have a gift, man and I can't say it any better. I would say you are right up there with some of the greatest guitarist on the planet, period.
So I’m a guitarist myself and I thought I was good with just playing power cords And never thought about anything like this so I just put my guitar down and the picked it up every once in a while but now that I’ve seen this I know now that I need to practice every day and slow to a metronome thanks for helping me realize that power cord aren’t enough also that was the greatest video I’ve ever seen
I've playing for a year now and got to kind of the same level as you did on your second year and this really motivates me to keep practicing and getting better, thank you 🤘

Brando Agusti Es una versión que arme de la canción "Spring Yard Zone" del Sonic. Cuando arranque practicaba de 4 a 7 horas diarias, ahora trato de tocar todos los días, sean horas o minutos. It mostly takes perseverance and discipline, having a strict routine of practice. One day legato, next day tapping, etc. It depends how much effort and how far do you want to take your playing to. There will be bad days, but the trick is to keep going. Paul Gilbert lessons (you can find them here on RUclips) helped me too! ^^
BDOguitar thank you for the reply and advice. Because right now I just try to learn songs I like. But that only gets me so far. I want to learn more but I wouldn't really know where to go from there.

I'm 21 right now and I decided to restart to learn guitar, is there a hope for me? At least I'm not giving up in this sucked world, there is no other thing which keeps me alive except fine arts and literature...
Now that was very impressive and also inspiring........respect from a 52 year old guitar veteran and luthier. Btw, i did like that jazzy aproach, the short lick undistorterd, very precise, love that one.
Hermano encerio te felicito te haz convertido en una persona admirable de la guitarra. Eres un ejemplo de que el práctica lo puede lograr. Encerio felicidades.
Wow!!, this is insane, your shredding faster than jp, Ive been playing for 3 years usually practice more than 4 hours a day and i can barely play some hammet solos. Would you mind sharing some tips?

Still can't do it after nearly 20 haha
ACDC is Life Thats very impressive! I can do it at a year and roughly a month, but it took me a ton of practicing.
Declan Wright uhh no
Weird fact: people with longer fingers tend to have a better technique when sweep picking than people with short ones

Norther - Break Myself Away ^^ Thanks bro!! :)
I'm 21 right now and I decided to restart to learn guitar, is there a hope for me? At least I'm not giving up in this sucked world, there is no other thing which keeps me alive except fine arts and literature...
Yes! There's always hope, keep it up bro, don't give up! ^^
Now that was very impressive and also inspiring........respect from a 52 year old guitar veteran and luthier. Btw, i did like that jazzy aproach, the short lick undistorterd, very precise, love that one.
Thanks!! :)

What's your best tip for increasing finger speed in practicing.?
Practicing legato and string skipping exercises with a metronome
BDOguitar thx will do
Got any tuning problems with that epiphone les paul?
Yes, but not too bad
Wow!!, this is insane, your shredding faster than jp, Ive been playing for 3 years usually practice more than 4 hours a day and i can barely play some hammet solos. Would you mind sharing some tips?
Thanks!! Paul Gilbert exercises/lessons helped me a lot, you can find them here on RUclips (mainly string skipping, alternate picking and legato patterns) try with those and let me know if you need help with something!! ^^
BDOguitar Thanks for the reply. I will give it a try.
No problem! ^^
