- If you don't want to watch the full build just skip to around the last 7 mins.
The second installment of a complete, in depth build of Dragon's Panzer IV Ausf H "Mid-Production Autumn '43", where I construct the turret and side shurzen. I plan to show the entire build, from the assembly, to a walk-through of the painting, to decalling and weathering. I also plan to try out a cool way to make a realistic whitewash so stay turned!
Music, in order of playing, is "Tally on Multiple Contacts" and "Saber Dance", both by Tom Salta.
A super clean build you have done a marvelous job bud. I can't wait to see what you have done with your BT-7. This is just a great build you do great work bud.
Thanks Andy! Yeah I've got to get back to that I was workin on this and the Ausf B so I still have to finish the turret up :P
Really nice build. These pz 4 and pz 3s are great kits. Not forgetting the stugs! Cant wait to see it painted.
Thanks man yeah Dragon's panzers are all really nice builds :) StuG! I'll be doing the next vid on the painting and whitewash and weathering etc. too :)
Good job man. I'm finally feeling better so I can make that group build entry video!
Nice build man :) I can't wait for the paint job.

Thanks man :) Good luck on it it's a great kit!
No problem :)
I am going to treat myself to some fruils lol
Very nice and clean build. Great work on it.
Thanks Stefan ;)
very detailed. Nice clean accurate build mate...top work
Thanks Mark :) Nice kit you should try one ;D
Nice progress, got to love the dragon kits, you can almost leave them un painted :) A heads up on the nickel shurtsen, wash them off with some alcohol/white spitit before painting if you didnt sand them, the paint can act funny and not level or bubble, they did on mine using valejo black primer. I only sanded mine.
Yeah I agree, they look to nice! I washed the fret with some isopropanol :) Learned that on my StuG G lol :)
Ok, thats good, maby its only the Valejo black, cause Coen had trouble with that also. I had no problems with the Olive drab primer thats why I invested in more primers from valejo. But the black seem to have some issues.
Anyway, what do you use to prime.
WarWarNeverChanges The Tamiya grey spray stuff, yeah I've heard that the AK black primer is bad...
Interesting, I might get one myself :) thanks for shearing, I enjoyed it a lot! Keep up the good work!
Thank you :) Get the Normandy one with the zimmerit it looks awesomer with it on!
Thanks :)
lovely work mate, looks great :) !
Thanks Shane :) It was a pleasure to build!
You tha man! Well done buddy.. now just dress her up in some nice colours and she will be a beauty!
Thank you Hendrik :) Winter scheme oh yeah!
She's all dressed up now and she looks gorgeous :D if I do say so myself lol vid up Tuesday hopefully!
I enjoyed watching the build and would like to ask a question. I noticed you were using the sanding sticks after the file or hobby knife. Have you noticed a difference between using the sticks and just using the file? I currently use the file and knife and have not invested in the sticks. Thanks for posting this.
Thanks, Michael. The sanding stick I used here is 220 grit on one side and 1200 on the other, so I use it for smoothing after the file which is about 100 grit. I only ever use the stick when there's a bit of burring left over from the file, or on rounded parts like wheels and barrels; If I were to use just the file for this then I'd leave a flat spot on the barrel/wheel. You could just as easily use sandpaper, though, but these sicks are easier to control than that and I got them free from ISM :)
thanks!
i enjoyed your vídeo men i wanna to build the tank but, where i can find and buy the tank? i waiting you and thanks
Thanks for the comment. I'm not sure where you can buy kits because I don't know where you live. Usually you can order them online on Ebay or buy them in stores if you have a hobby shop near you
Do you have any tutorial on painting the camo for the Panzer IV?
+Billy Lo No but I explained it in my "Tutorial: Painting and Weqathering a Winter Whitewash" video, and more recently, mu "Tutorial: Surface Weathering" video, but I can explain it here if you'd like.
Thanks. I'll go watch those videos then.
The kit come with metal side skirt?
+Billy Lo For the hull sides, yes it does. They're really nice! most Dragon kits have these.
