Enjoying your series so much, I'm cancelling cable.
Previous month I managed to withdraw my first five figure paycheck ever!!! I've been working for this company over the internet for 24 months now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most desirable thing regarding it is the fact that I am not that tech-savvy, they only asked for basic idea of internet and simple typing skill...Awesome thing about it is the more time I got for my kids. I am able to spend quality time with my friends and family and take care of my children and also going on family holiday together with them very consistently. Don't neglect this chance and make sure to react fast. Check it out, what I do... *worth48.com*
grateful for anything

Work boots n levels good one...getting one wud make 2019 my best year.🤘
LIKE THE TEAMWORK!!!! GOOD FLOW
you all must get along really well as a team.
Looking good
Sucks about anchor bolts. They should set the before pour like the hold downs. Builder said to me “ why do you need to go there before they pour?” I said because it’s more work later if their hold down bolts are off. Sure enough concrete guy had no clue where they actually went. I set them properly and haven’t had an issue yet on current job.
I'm in for anything it's all good and will help anyone who's trying to start up bang on brother
Nice, work-long ass day though. Coffee maker is the best of the gifts thus far.
Realy enjoy the vid's keep it up 👍🏻🇱🇺

Matt I would be thankful for any one of the gifts. Take care
I just can’t wait for trusses
Putting them up tomorrow!
Keep up the videos
I was watching another channel, called the honest Carpenter when he dropped your name in the video. I’ve been checking out your videos for the past couple of months. I never knew that somebody made a channel that had anything to do with setting and rolling trusses and construction. I’ve been in the Truss business myself as a driver and a operator for 20 years. But you guys are a little too far south, because I work in Northern California. But you never know this business, maybe one day I could come by and set some trusses for you guys.
I'm in college but I am passionate about construction and know that I will be working in the trades after college. Your vids help college go faster/ Thank you
Great job young Larry haun
Lol near the end, when the lift moved, it sounds like an old man yelling lmfaooooo
I thought it was part of the background music for half a second. LOL
My favorite part of building is trusses install
Dude, those old Emglo compressors are the best. I'm still using one that i got 20? Years ago. Too bad they went out business. Bang on!
dope video matttttt
Damn im early, loving these video’s lately 🙌🏽
And I’m looking forward to winning day 7 Matt bless me with being the winner or day 7 or any day thanks man !!
Sola levels forsure 🔥
Yo that was sick im starting to think thats what I wanna do after done with school🤘🤘🤘
Ever boots and a level would make my year!
That old roof XD
Tool belt and boots! :)
Bough gas in Cda, Idaho yesterday at Costco for $2.59 gal, 4 bucks in Cal wow.
Bang On🤘🏼🔨
The Diamond back tool belt would be nice to win, or a level. Thanks B.B.
This looks like a monster truss job. Do you guys use a reserve tank for air
I want the nail bag and boots!
Just late 2018 we've been allowed to use titans. Nice nice hardware.
No more epoxy. Drill and set
If I had a t shirt I would be happy. Good job man
I want that diamondback setup so bad! If I don't win (which I prob won't) might have to buy one
23 and 1/4 and then nail then 24 on center and forward nice
Great video!
Hoping to win the diamondback gear!!!
you got your truck back
Nah, this is prior to that day.
My trucks in the shop right now.
@@MattBangsWood O bummer
Matt put some MBW labels on some wine and sell it from that build...... ......CHEERS !
Really would love a new pair of boots for work
Wait. That’s OP.
Would love to win that big red and ever boots 👍🏼
Can't wait to win any of gifts
The boots level and lights
👌👌👍👍👍🏴 Drill bits 🎉🤶🤶🎅🎄
Only thing is I would like to know where the other trusses were marked on. That can be very confusing to someone like us.
I know its 2' center but from the 1st one being laid out on 231/4" to 243/4" what would the tape read on the other mark ups.
95 cents per litre, here in Canuckystan its $1.20 per litre. Pretty shitty when you have to drive a large pickup truck to bring tools and material to the jobsite !!
Yeehaw
Hey Matt quick question I’m not a carpenter but I do my own stuff around the house
My question is when you were laying the trusses out why did you move the tape measure from the end of the wall into where you marked the first truss? Thanks
John
John Rohdy it simplifies the layout. The truss layout from the nail/edge of the truss is 24” vs calculating 24 on center. 24-25.5, 48-49.5...
Matt, what kind of grip did you put on your Dalluge?
He used electrical tape. Fits into his sheath easier.
Matt, Glad to see you using the scissors lift to mark the trusses. Are you going to bring in a second lift when you hang the trusses for fastening both sides?
We’ll be tied off 100% and using the scissor as well. It’ll be fun! Unfortunately we’ll be craning all trusses in, one by one! Starts tomorrow, keep your email open, I’ll send ya pics tomorrow. 😊
@@MattBangsWood MBW if each feller (2) working to set the trusses each carried a 22 1/2" block...would that not guarantee a two foot center for each truss? Bang on. 👍
Good job Q!
I wanna win your gopro Matt lol
What were the anchors Matt mentioned? Titan? Anyone have a link?
Matt commented that he will release a video shortly about that above.
www.strongtie.com/mechanicalanchors_mechanicalanchoringproducts/thd_anchor/p/titen-hd
MattBangsWood thank you. Love the videos.
👍👍👍!!!
Is there going to be any partition walls on the inside or wide open space?
Wide open space!
Well, one small office space in the big building.
What's the outcome on your pickup truck trans problem?
It’s being fixed, transmission comes today! 🙃
Any prize would be sweet.
That 1st redhead washer was like 3/4 outside of green plate. Smh lol and even if they were all wrong but the same to each other. At least then theyd all be lined up and perfect. Perfectly wrong but straight
Where is the link to tight-in (titans?) 6:04
Darn, I shared it in a comment on here. I need to put it in bio! 😊
Where are y'all working at?
Whered you find fox? Give that man a raise for Christmas.
another great video and i would love to win anything in the give away
Anything I should win I would greatly appreciate be overwhelmed to be picked to receive a gift from one talented young man. I was raised not to look a gift horse in the mouth. Bang on Matt and keep up the great work and keep the videos coming. God Bless You and all your family
Petrol is 127 pence or £1.27 a litre here in belfast.
What is the pitch on the roof?
2/12 bottom chord, 5/12 top.
You call him Foxy too, eh? 😁👍🏼
Good day from Australia. I have watched all of the winery build and because I am a bit hard of hearing, I miss the names of your fellow workers. Maybe as a part of your videos you could introduce your main players and make the video a little more involving. The only one I identify is the smoker. You could say something like this is so and so (our apprentice) so and so is a fast machine nailer man etc. Just my thought.
😊😊
I didn't catch the Titan product detail. Anyone know what he had mentioned?
Ahh, I totally spaced it in the description! Give me a minute, I’ll post it.
www.strongtie.com/mechanicalanchors_mechanicalanchoringproducts/thd_anchor/p/titen-hd
@@MattBangsWood Thanks for that info. I do have a question that you might give some insight. What would be the cost savings, in labor or material for this scenario if any. A concrete slab with no embedded tie-down in concrete, framing crew doesn't have to measure around it for the bottom plate, drill out when framing a wall and then while those walls are stood up you come in a just drill for those Titens and screw it. It seems like it might be easier labor, but not cost-wise. Thoughts?
@@MattBangsWood ok i see said the blind men
Why do you sometimes skin the wall before you raise it and sometimes after?
Not Matt, but he has said that due to the size/weight of some of these wall lifts it would be pushing the load capacity of the equipment to lift a sheathed wall. Also sometimes a wall won't square up so it's easier to correct after standing, then sheath. Then there's plumbing in the foundation that might be in the way and finally, the slab might not be level. Hope this helps.
Many thanks, carry on!
Fast forward gas prices in California 6$ +
How do I sign for an apprenticeship? Looks like a good time
Tons of options! Where about ya from? Would love to help you find a spot.
I’m Washington state between Seattle and Portland Oregon ! Actually been trying to find a non union contractor to work for , looks so much fun and I have 3 years In the trades , mainly roofing and pre engineered steel buildings !
Framing contractor *
I have some carpentry experience too, mostly in remodeling and cement but if you wanna give me a shot I’ll move to Cali and work for scraps until I prove myself hahaha
@@MattBangsWood awesome videos by the way these have been getting me stoked I have only framed metal buildings
I can’t tell but is that Q cutting the sheeting.
YES!! EVERY FREAKIN SHEET, perfectly. Not one mistake the whole day.
Why not mark the top plates before putting them up? Can mark both walls at once
Accuracy reasons. I plate partially on the ground, some in the air. Much more accurate in place.
@@MattBangsWood That's fair. Still quick with that scissor lift anyway
Yeah my bartha and do the same standing up
I was gonna ask how Q was doing? Is he showing a natural enthusiasm?
He cut every single sheet we installed on this day, didn’t screw one cut up. I gave him my short point number, and he did the rest. Super proud of the kid!
Wow, if gas was only $4 i would even take my car to the mailbox
@@theguy9290 about $6 here where I live lol
@@theguy9290 Hahahaha
Please tell us how much they pay you for this job? Roughly
Why did you mark the first truss at 23 1/4 wouldn’t the center to center on the gable to that first truss be 23 1/4 on center and not 24?? Jw
Similar to pulling stud #’s, hooking corner, 15-1/4” to it, hook that and pull 16”.
It works out perfect for our sheathing on the roof.
Alot faster
Why don’t you walk the plates if the walls are properly braced
Safety reasons. 18’ drop doesn’t treat anyone nicely.
We’ll walk plate when trusses go up tomorrow.
I just want to win one of the days I dont care what day
Shouldnt you have went 23 and a quarter from the overhang or is there one?
It’s all custom cut rough sawn 4x6” tails / lookouts. Our gables will notch and lookouts go in to make the overhang.
Perimeter nailing is gable end, so we want our 2’ pulled off that, smooth sailing after that.
He would need one more turss if coming from over hang. Do the lay and see
all i want is a hat or pencil
8:46 sounds like someone yelling into a microphone.
$4.00/gal...OMG I just filled up the car for $2.27/gal in Georgia....
guess it pays to live in those fly over states when it comes to gas.... paid 4.35 today
@@scottalexander8856 Don't know if I would consider Atlanta a fly over state... We just don't have as many taxes as CA
