So basically, Zealandia was formed by two tectonic events. The first being that tectonic forces stretched and thinned Zealandia's crust until it was ripped from the ancient supercontinent Gondwana (more specifically it ripped away from what is now Australia and Antarctica) about 85 million years ago. This created what we now call the Tasman Sea. And then it was carved by forces that started the Ring of Fire

Actually continents and tectonic plates are not the same thing. A continents is described as a large landmass separated from other continents by a large body of water. Whereas tectonic plates are gigantic pieces of the Earth's crust and uppermost mantle making up the Earths surface. In addition, there are 6 continents of the world, but there are 17 tectonic plates and most of them (if they were above sea level) would not be large enough to be called a "continent", they would just be islands or part of a continent.

As a Panamanian myself, i would be more than happy to quickly tell you a bit of my knowledge on Darien. Darien is a large rainforest between North America and South America that is extremely dangerous for two reasons. One: the forest is so dense that no vehicle could get through it, and considering how large the forest is you might not want to walk. Also since basically all of the wildlife is untouched unlike the rest of Panama, malaria is probably still a thing there (also theres a ton of wildlife that wants to kill you.) and reason number two is because the wildlife isn’t the only thing trying to kill you. Many people have tried exploring the forest, and never coming back due to the fact that a dense forest is the perfect place for a murderers, drug dealers, and overall shady people to kill you. Even if people somehow managed to build a road through the forest, a lot of the wildlife would be destroyed, and an entire ecosystem would be gone, so whenever you want to go from Panama to Colombia maybe just take a plane or a boat.
2:38 if it wasn't built up and was complete rainforest, how did they get the google cars to drive through so they could get you your street view. I feel like this highlights how much in society we just take for granted, like things come out of thin air because we see them so often.

Even if people somehow managed to build a road through the forest, a lot of the wildlife would be destroyed, and an entire ecosystem would be gone, so whenever you want to go from Panama to Colombia maybe just take a plane or a boat.
Thanks
2:38 if it wasn't built up and was complete rainforest, how did they get the google cars to drive through so they could get you your street view. I feel like this highlights how much in society we just take for granted, like things come out of thin air because we see them so often.

6:52 In Australia, although native, kangaroos are actually a pest in many places because they eat the crops of farmers, leading to them often being hunted. However, this is only true for agricultural areas, where there are plentifull crops so the and kangaroos jumping around citys are normally welcome.
I've always thought of kangaroos as basically weird deer, at least for practical purposes (obviously, they're quite different biologically).
6:29 I'm from Bulgaria and I can say that people in my country know pretty well German and French, English and more languages. Especially I can read and write on English. Love from Bulgaria 🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬
