The empty part of the US is what is generally called the Intermountain region. There's a lot of desert in that Intermountain region, although in the northern part it's not as extreme as in the Sonora desert of Az and north Mexico. The idaho. Part is, in fact heavily farmed thanks to the Snake River and its tributaries. The Great Basin states are pretty much heavily desertified since not only are they cut off from significant rainfall from the west by the Sierras, but most of it except for along the Colorado River has no oceanic drainage outlets. Instead they tend to feed some inland basins, IIRC the official term is endoheric or something like that, the most priest one being Utahs Great Salt Lake. Another major one in west central Nevada is the Carson sink, where any streams in those areas sink below the alkali flats.

About Doggerland...
Me dad is a Fisher man and he collect fossils. The are al from the pleistocene. Lots of mammoths, rhino, horses enz.
Because of the nets pulling over the ground the pick up these fossils. It's really interesting. You can even found fossils on man made beaches. A lot of people collect fossils from the dogger.
"13 degrees. thats a good day thats warm!"

In australia there are lots of indigenous languages (aboriginal and torres strait islanders) that are still spoken today. (8:25) It is slightly sad that the mapmaker of the language map that was shown did not care to show those. I loved the video, though!
theres over 200 and a real shame the map didnt reflect that
this was my immediate thought too! not sure how someone goes that deep into researching the languages of the world and manages to completely skip over indigenous australian languages

i don't get it, western EU is a level 2 but rwanda and Angola is a level 1? and China and Japan is the same level, i cant understand what the criteria is, i mean Turkmenistan aka the north Korea of central asia is at the same level as Japan and new zealand. WTF
the travel advisory website say "Exercise increased caution in Denmark due to terrorism."
5 people have died in Denmark due to a terrorist attack since 1985. and the last one was in 2015
Sweden a level 1 country had its last one in 2017 where 5 people died and 14 where injured. but noincreased caution in Sweden?
setting aside that a person's individual chance to get hit by a terror attack in denmark is as good as 0. why is it not considered a threat in sweden? at least have some consistency!
it don't make sense!
Also with Papua New Guinea, I don’t get it how it’s level 4
