Common mistake No 11: Do not do a piece on crutches. Piece came out horrible as I was constantly falling down, broke my other foot trying to run away and also got caught. Lose lose lose situation.
Common mistake No. 12 : Do not eat the spray paint. The spray is toxic to your body.
Common mistake number 13: do no tell your mum or gram gram that you are on your way to do graffiti. This is a common mistake.
Common Mistake No. 14: Do not choose a police station to do your piece. This will lead to arrest and possibly jail.

This is solid advice. I started of with stickers and paste ups 7 years ago and I also do a lot of graffiti. This is stuff that I can relate to. YOUFO is just a fucking legend.

I remember being a lil kid and playing somewhere with my brother where people also do graffiti. There were empty cans everywhere! And eventually i did trip and fall over them, but i was fine
man i love your content ive only been doing graff for a couple months now but watching your videos has helped me improve so much and build the confidence to make up my own tags draw them out when i thought i was shit and have every artist clown on me but after getting into it other artist have been helping me improve and showed me the roots of it i love what you are doing for the graff and hiphop culture as a whole. also sorry for the bad spelling for some words

-if I shake my cans and then it takes me 30min to get to the place do I have to re-shake them?
-how do I clean caps? (water, alcohol, paper towel,…?)

Every word and name has been used like 40,000 times just don't use a legend name. If you Google any name its probably been used at some point and time, just pick a name and get good with it, own it.

always wear good quality latex gloves.. 1) no fingerprints.... 2) paint gets on your gloves not on your hands.. just in case you get bagged....3) the paint is immediately absorbed in your bloodstream.... gloves prevent that....4) start with crappy paint and use a good cap ... or rak paint and do whatever.. 5) always rak when possible.....6) stay lo pro.. 7) go out solo.....8) you don't need to be in a crew.... 9) find a desolate area and practice, practice... when ready - hit...There is enough shit on walls.. no need to contribute... 10) don't use social..... people will post your stuff eventually.. 11) assume everyone is a rat.. don't let others know where you live, don't get up in your neighborhood.. don't give out your number.... 12) never be a rat........13) sometimes you have to scope a place beforehand...
Running in crews only got my into trouble. With the law and other crews. Way better being a Oner.

This is good advice! Remember, always, always shake your cans off site! I'll never forget one night I was in an alleyway about to throw up a little bubble piece on the vertical sliding door of a loading dock. I didn't think anyone was around at that time of night and I started shaking my cans when suddenly the door slides up really fast and a Korean guy and his wife chased me away with a broom! Stay alert!

I carry a can of acetone in my goofbag to spray out my caps, I have some I don't know if I could replace... I love my sharpshooters
You can refill your pocket cans with a refill cap setup, and your scrap can paint can be decanted into a mop as well
I don't miss those slap opportunities anymore, I copped 750 eggshells in the past month off blankslaps... Thanks bud 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Last night we (me and the homies) were out drawing a piece and I got distracted by my can not rattling when I shake it
(context: I Have ADHD)
So I spent like 10 minute jumping around the whole place shaking my can until my homies were done with their part and able to get my attention
And then I did my part ( highlighting and details and all that jizz)
And then the can started leaking

once they are clogged its cheaper and easier to just get new ones man, to avoid caps getting clogged to begin with, is when ur finished with the can, spray it upside down for 4 seconds

Find a style you like and copy it. Start simple tags bubble letters at first you'll get there if you practice a lot.
Circular circle, I prefer those dodecahedron circles 🤘🏼

I’m only 19 and my lungs are fucked kids. Remember drugs aren’t the only fun things that can eat your lungs. Use good ugdrays, “free” paint and always a mask or shirt stay frosty

Yo I´m busted, I left cans in abandoned buildings and other crappy places mostly cos there was a load of rusty cans ther already, ooops I shall remember to do the right thing. Cheap shitty cans, yeah dont buy em, but when travelling you may often not be able to get the goodie cans, so it can be real fun to do your best with those watery asian or eastern europe cans, still gets the job done, just use a lot more paint and get messy outlines as most of those cans wont fith the caps you brought with you haha... cheers for another fresh vid YOUFO ..

I disagree with number six. Learning is all about getting out of your comfort zone, and with enough practice anyone can improve. That being said, it's probably best not to seriously attempt something that's far beyond your skill level. I also think it's a mistake to try and learn a style you're not passionate about solely because you think you're not good if you can't paint that style. Just practice and follow your passion and you can't go wrong.

First, what if I can't find a name that isn't already taken? Second, the sticker is very useful, in a place where you can't throw a tag.
Good question man,
no matter what name you come up with, there’s probably another out there. just don’t intentionally use someone else’s name.
There's infinite names you can come up with. For example from the word "Molotow" alone you could make Olot, Towo, Woto, Molt and then add an E: Towoe, Wotoe or a Z: Olotz, Moltz just be creative
Just add your own flair to a name, I write as Hated but I spell it H8-ED
