Hey buddy, very good tutorial indeed! :), the only complain that I have is that, near the end of the video, your mic volume goes down, and then up again.
Thank you! Glad you found it helpful. Unfortunately my current mic is dying and I need a new one at some point, hopefully it won't fade out like that again >_
that's really helpful ⭐✨however i do have one question for you: how did you customized the textures from the models? like making half-life models look like they're reskined
I followed every step, now it's possible to make costume animation for Scientist and other models. But I have some problem here.... One of the Scientist shoes is messed up went compiling...... How can I fix that? Edit: Nvm I fix it myself, there we're something, while I was setting up the model to Blender. Btw, your tutorial are the best. Thanks for the help mate.
Hey! Yes I'm currently working on a mod named Black Mesa Research Outpost. Feel free to sub for more info :) If you want to play something I worked on recently, check out TWHL.com and download "Black Mesa Dual Hazard", one of the entries for the Buddy Competition. It's on the Competitions page.
Great tutorial, but my scientists feet are all goofy. How do I fix this? I asked people on the Half-Life discord server and no one gave me a complete tutorial. And I mean, exact keystrokes please. Hope you get back soon. Edit: Welp looks like I didn't watch the whole video hehe. Sorry. Crisis averted.
Yes the "foot roll" problem is very annoying and I think it must be the decompiling process that causes it. Hope you got it sorted. For the record, selecting the whole scientist mesh, entering Edit Mode and changing the roll value of the foot bone fixes this. The value will need to be changed to the same value as the other foot.
i feel like this channel will be a popular channel in the future so i want to park my account into comment section, thank you.
Haha thank you, here's hoping, eh? ;)

Nice!
*Ridiclous ties*
what do I do if, when I press import I dont have a source engine the last thing I have there is X3D Extensible 3D ( pls help )
your work is excellent, could you remake or edit the animations of otis from opfor and bshift for the models in hd?
What fps do you animate at? The default 25? Quake 1 models are animated at 10fps (at least I'm pretty sure they do), is it the same for Half-Life 1?
I believe either 25 or 30 fps. Probably 25.

How many Polys do these scientist guys have?

Yes the scientist’s foot has an incorrect roll value for some reason when first imported in.
Glad it helped you :)
