- We show how to find Sxx for a data set, and how to use Sxx to find the standard deviation and variance. We'll use the formula for Sxx that is the sum of the squared deviations, and we'll use a shortcut formula which is the sum of the squares minus the squared sum divided by n. We'll do this by hand, and show how to calculate Sxx on a calculator. #Statistics

Really good explanation thank you
Glad it was helpful, thanks for watching!
hey! I had a question, whats the difference between angle subtended by AB "from" C & angle subtended by AB "at" C? in both cases the angle is formed at C. So is there any difference?
Hello! Did I use those words? There is no difference so far as I know. Either phrasing makes sense, the angle comes from C in a sense, but it is also an angle whose vertex is at C.
My question is regarding the notation Sxx. why there are 2 'x' on the subscript part? could you explain that one, please?
I don't know for sure. I assume it serves two purposes. 1) It distinguishes it from Sx, which would be assumed to be the standard deviation of the x values. 2) It represents the two x's in the formula (xi - xbar).
all my homies hate stats
Same
Is expected value defined here?
Veri gud
