Electro harmonix Grand Canyon pedal which is essentially a delay with a number of types of delay / effects, one of which is shimmer ! Very nice effect which may suit your taste ! It is basically derived from a combination of older electro harmonix pedals in a chain ! Memory man and such like ! I use it on an acoustic guitar through an acoustic amp with reverb and chorus built in but all set very subtle ! Great sound for picking in open tuning or standard !
As much as I love the Scottish accent and could follow it all just fine, I can't for the life of me find the pick up she mentions based on the phonectics... Shame... Fiddle as well, and I am on the market for a new pick up, and wanted to check that one out!
it also took me a while on google but I think I found it. On the skyinbow website there was no webshop but here you can purchase the pickup. fiddlershop.com/products/skyinbow-pure-acoustic-chinrest-pickup-s1
@@jean-lucaussems5203 Seems you are correct: www.timsviolins.co.uk/extras/pickups/ But I was hoping that it was spelled 'Sgian bow' as in 'Sgian dubh' the small knife that Scots wear hidden in their sock when wearing the kilt.
This old American guy loves her playing and her accent, but I literally can only understand about half of what she says! I'll have to listen at least once more to really get it. No insult meant - at all! - but you might want to give English subtitles. I fully realize my spoken voice would likely be hard for them to completely understand as well. IT'S GREAT THE MUSIC ITSELF NEEDS NO SUBTITLES OR EXPLANATION! Wonderful stuff...

I think the pickup is a Skyinbow (Pure Acoustic)

Also this pedal has a looper function but is one of the selectable settings so cant be used along side another ! 👍
Good to know!
