Where I live, I get pine sap on my car now and then. Without pressure washing, how do you get that and mud off of the car without scratches? Rubbing dirt off even with lubrication is not a good idea imo.
To be fair, it does look kinda weird if your business is almost entirely dependent on the app, but you don't have tech people within your own business.
It is a bit like not owning your own IP. Such a critical part of the business being built and maintained by a 3rd party leaves one rather vulnerable to problems with whoever developed it. This is esp true if they need to scale up and discover the current backend can not handle it.

I am stuck in a loop of Shark Tank Australia, USA and Dragon's Den UK and Canada! I'm unable to get out of it. I don't know why but when I eat, I need to watch Shark Tank Or Dragon's Den or else it becomes boring. I'm not a business man neither do I have any plans to start a company. I work as a detailer. 1 car/truck inside and out can take up to an hour at most but can be done in less. As well depends how dirty the vehicle is. For how long it takes
1 hour for detailing the car? Or washing and hoovering inside? Because there is massive difference between the two. Average car detailer will take 150-250€ where i live and 4-8h of work. But thats detailing the car, washing and hoovering most dirt on inside plus wiping dashboard is not detailing, its just washing the car, something every car wash does in 20 mins for 20€

How many businesses actually built their own website or app? There are literally gazillions of businesses that don't own their own tech. All this thing is is an that connects a customer with a service provider. It's not rocket science.
The dry wash system isnt new, its at least 25 year old system (i know because i had tried similar system back in the mid-nineties), and its a difficult sell… you cant wash a muddy vehicle with it… its only useful on relatively clean vehicles that need the dust wiped off. The only thing “new” is the app.. but anyone can build that kind of app… so all together, theres no USP.
Taxi businesses have existed for centuries, Uber just books them and isn't going to be worth all that much. One can just phone the taxi company. Oh wait...

Proper car detailing take hours, you remove seats and other parts of interior, wash inside and out, clean seats, carpets, often even headliner. This guy said his workers do 5 a day, with travel thats probably 1h per car. Nobody can do proper detailing of a car in 1h, i dont care if they have 2 days of training or 2000 days
They provide 2 days of training and 101 questions, after training like that you can clean the car just by looking at it. Who the fuck would need water or hoover
With detailing - what you get is what you pay for. If you want a 1 hour, $50 detail, you're going to get a pretty shitty detail. If you get a 5 hour, $350 detail, you're car is going to be immaculate.

I offer an average of 1 hour details for $65-85, with a super slick hydrophobic sealant to protect the car from a minimum of 6 weeks to the max of 2.5 months ive seen. My maintenance clients are every 2,3,4 weeks and once a month and their paints have a lot less debris on them compared to cowboy detailers, normal car washes, and having crap protection on them. That’s my entry package with others going up to 1500+. So yes, you do get what you paid for. You can go pay $12,$30 or $50 and I guarantee it comes with a shit tonne of swirls, cheap armoral interior dressings, and a bunch of tyre shines that sling and eat into the paint. Mine guarantee against all of that, as I’m about preserving the paint as much as you possibly can. Which is what people pay for
