i like Andrew. He always gives a fair reason for being out and also gives good feedback even if he is not investing.
EXACTLY! if i had a thriving company, he would have been the one I would only ask to invest.
Yeah right. Unlike Naomi 😅 She's always one of the first ones to be out and for silly reasons 😂😂
I love how Australian Shark Tank uploads the entire thing, unlike US version
US version is garbage. Dragon's Den - Shark Tank AUS are the best. However, it's not the entire thing, there are a lot of parts removed and many parts are misplaced to make the final episode look great.
Agreed ! If you check out Dragon's Den UK and Ireland you get the whole clip too
The real pitches can take hours. Nowhere near full pitches.
Us version is bad but I like the comment section more on that one
They want to sell it to Netflix
“I’m out first.”
Gut reaction: “Thanks Naomi.” Oh, wait...! Hahaha
This one is really accurate
I'm really liking the scenes of the sharks when they're waiting for the guys to come back just discussing what the negotiation prediction is going to be.
was funny and meta.
Loved their negotiation skills, they were quick and creative
They might had already prepared plan B plan C plan D. That way you can negotiate best.
glen was so not ready for a bear hug at the end 😂
😂 Laynton was too excited!
"thanks Naomi" 😬😬😬😬
Love to watch Sharks clear minds and their decision once they've done all investigation.
We love Janine and Naomi! ❤️
O shit^
@@kidsco5605 the joke is that Naomi goes out first a lot, common mistake lol
Barbara: Your business will make me too rich for that reason I'm out.
This is hella funny since this is au version instead of us
I'm Jenny therefore I'm Barbara.

Very impressed by the snappy negotiation skills 👏

Massive enthusiasm from these guys with so much passion, best of luck to them on their journey 🙌
Thanks mate 😄
2.5m evaluation is a blue sky and I'm wearing Red for that reason I'm out
Australia is really great. Your whole mentality is so much more direct, honest and just brighter. If it wasn't so hot there, I'd have joined you guys a long time ago already.
It’s 15 degrees today in Melbourne 😊 summers can get a bit hot, but as the saying goes “if you don’t like the weather in Melbourne, just wait 15 minutes”
It’s not that hot jim
It's not too hot, but in some areas the summers can be very humid
@@-JimmyRustle- what about spiders so big you can hear their footsteps? also kangaroos attacking you?
@@mr.hedgehog420 the majority of our population lives far away from any kangaroos, and you'd have to go out of your way to get injured by one even if you did. I fucking hate spiders but thankfully never heard footsteps of one before. It is true though our spiders are fucked

I love how honest Steve is! Truly an amazing guy at least from what I can tell lol! :)
I feel like corona slowed them down considering a lot of people are working from home so families would have their kids at home with them for the holidays

Lol the sharks banter on Aussie Shark tank is the best. Love you all! =] Thanks for a great show =)
The way Andrew says “oh my god” at 0:16 😂 dudes wondering wtf he got himself into
This is how people should make their offers. People don’t want to give up so much of their company, but they need a certain amount of money. The 30% offer was great ‘cause they tried the lower offer with if we don’t get to the numbers we need in a year, you get more equity. That helped negotiating a lot better than if they said just 25%. People should give them the right to get more equity if the company doesn’t do nearly as much that the pitchers’ say it’ll do in a year. The sharks evaluate their money and time by what a company’s already made within a year and by the evaluation of the upcoming year. It’s like no one ever thinks of that. Sees these low ball offers given to the sharks that never work and then come on the show doing the same thing ‘cause we all know people don’t want to give up a lot of equity/ownership of their company.
With all due respect, I disagree. Offering more % if the business doesn’t meet a goal disincentivizes a shark. The shark is better off letting the business grow slower to then take that extra 5%. Not a good deal for the business owners. The sharks just want to see a return on thrir investment, so something like “25% plus $1 for every enrolled student for 3 years” gets the shark working hard to put as many kids through the program to maximize both the company’s growth and the shark’s return on investment.
I wouldn't like the we'll give you 5 more percent if we don't hit our numbers because it gives the shark less incentive to help if he's hoping you don't hit your numbers so he can take more equity.
@@kevinwilson4163 The point is that the owner can give the equity they want and if the company reaches what it’s supposed to reach, then they don’t need give the amount the Shark asked for. The Sharks are gonna work as hard as the value they think they should for the amount of equity given, they amount of money they gave, and by how much the company has already made. Some companies actually do really well within the first year and they didn’t have to work as hard as they thought. Sometimes the sharks on any Shark Tank are wrong about how much they effort they needed to put in. That was my point. It’s a great idea to do the more equity given later thing. It’s better than just being very low ‘cause you don’t want to lose ownership of your company. Plus it’s kinda rude for the sharks to ask for more equity of a company ‘cause of how much they’ll have to work and then talk to each other and talk like it’s not gonna much work involved with helping the company. All sharks on both Shark Tanks do this. So is it gonna be a lot of work, so you need more equity for your time, efforts, and money given? Or is not gonna be that hard, so they need to revive that much equity? They always do that “it’s not gonna be much work” conversation on both Shark Tank shows only whenever they let someone chit chat in the walkway about what deal to take. It’s like they don’t the pitchers to hear that and be like : “well then why do you need more equity for your work if you say it’s gonna be easy work?”. ‘Cause they wouldn’t want to have to explain that. They don’t want to say that evaluations are also there so we can say this is why we deserve to own more of a company ‘cause we wanna get as much ownership of a company as we can and hopefully land being an owner of another company even though we don’t have to work hard for it and we will get our money back and more quickly.
No they shouldn’t get more equity if it doesn’t do as much. That’s not how investment works at all. You assume the risk fully knowing it could flop or not hit nearly the targets set…YOU take that risk investing.
@@isiahaf1359 What I meant is how to get someone to trust that they don't need to sell more equity to an investor, but if what the pitcher says is wrong and it needs more money from the investor and or more work from them than the pitcher thought, then that's why I feel like the offer of more equity has to be given to the investor after a year if that scenario happens. It's a way to get people to want to invest while knowing that they'll get more equity if they need to give more. Then the pitcher can own more equity if what they say actually happens within a year.
Naomi be like “(entrepreneur walks in)
-and for that reason , I’m out”
The Australian pendant to UK‘s Jenny.
She does have good input and advice. She is interesting to watch.
The awkward laughing at the beginning was....

oookay this is weird
😅😅😅
How's that gonna work? One of the guys is from 'Malbourne' and the other is from Melbourne.
Don't think Shark Tank noticed that Steve swore at the end of this video haha!
just got that, classic lol
Good thing he rejected the 5% by 2021😂 they would have had no way to make that money in 2020
And it's a weird deal. 5% more on a company if it hasn't generated enough money. I get the idea but that's just not what the sharks are interested in. If you're gonna do something like that you need to ask them for a clause that allows you to buy back equity from a shark if you meet a requirement.

for that reason, i am OUT.Sorry Guys."

Ooh I’m sure this crashed and burned during quarantine
That's so unfortunate..
Most of Australia hadn’t been acutely affected by lockdown. Victoria is the main state to be negatively impacted and mostly due to an incompetent Premier.
Government didnt want private industry teaching children, harder to brainwash them.
I think this would be way more popular during quarantine, daycares were overrun bc the kids were out of school. If they adapted even slightly for the quarantine and created online materials or in person day camps for parents to get the kids outta their hair for a while this would've shot through the roof

This is in 2021 yeah?
If they were at the stage that the shark's want them at in order to invest they would not need a shark.
Why does everyone screw themselves with the valuation.. it's almost like it's produced, so the sharks don't have to invest.
Australian shark tank > U.S. Shark Tank. The vibes and dynamics are just more fun.
