Before criticising a pitch, remember that the Den is intended for TV entertainment, and they know the viewing public enjoy watching other people being taken down. When the producers saw this guy audition with a weak idea and laughable self-importance, they thought "Perfect". It really annoys me that the Dragons pretend that they don't know this, and criticise the entrepreneur rather than the people who set him up. And, yes, I'm one of the audience who loves this stuff, and I enjoyed this more than most episodes, but at least I know that any "fault" is entirely the show's.
I actually felt sorry for the guy. Yes, the pitch was horrible but it was totally set up and producers knew what they're doing. Seemed like a nice guy but stubborn. You can see how disappointed he was and close to crying. Didn't like that producers and dragons bullied him like that. You could not let him pitch at all or dragons could said same things much better. Now maybe millions of people laughed at him.
