As a totally and permanently disabled veteran I can only hope I get these honors when I die. I'm 40 years old and have liver cirrhosis from long term alcohol abuse and Multiple Sclerosis and have been in a wheelchair since the age of 32. So I'm not long now from death unfortunately. I hope an active Army service member in dress blue uniform can hand that flag to my father and my children. That would be my last and final wishes. I down voted it simply because the Marines did a horrible job. They need to go back to boot camp and learn how to move their bodies. Cpl nut face also messed up the phrase when presenting the flag to the nearest of kin.

@@tom11zz884 There's essentially 4 levels of US Military burial. The 2 man, for any service member who was honorably discharged. The 8 man, for retired service members. The 21 man, for service members killed on active duty. In the case of Medal of Honor recipients and other highly decorated service members, they get a full military parade. Something to note, it's always the families choice on what happens. If the family wants the military to carry the casket they will, if not they wont.

Painful to watch this. I understand he joined and the worst outcome became reality. I understand nobody "gives their life" for America. That's my take. They lost their life fighting for someone else's freedom. Never served myself, but Semper Fei anyway. Respect for the Marine (and all servicemen and women) and sorrow for his family and friends. That's my prayer.
