That Freddy fender before the next teardrop falls is one of the best records ever made. Probably not worth anything but give it a listen before you pass it on. I promise you’ll want to keep it. Love your videos. You’re a good person.
I remember going to the Firestone tire store every December to get their annual Christmas record. That was part of every family’s Christmas preparations in the Massachusetts town I grew up in. Happy memories.
Another amazing video those old electrical devices and all those records mom loves Christmas she would enjoy those as much as you do I can't wait to see what's next take care God bless 🙏🙏
My cousin, Diane Adams, was a member of the Young Americans. She had an amazing voice and Maria Callas heard her sing at one of tv programs they were on and wanted her to study opera. Vicki Lawrence, was also, a member of the Young Americans with Diane. Thank you for sharing your adventure into the crawl space! And bringing back some memories for me. Fran
You definitely need to wear a mask when you’re doing those clean outs. Particularly in older homes, which most of them seem to be. Mold and asbestos are deadly. You found some neat things! I did some quick research(it’s my job so I can never stop myself). Those watt meters are highly collectible and may even belong in a museum.
Just a few nice things in the crawl space. Those meters are in incredible condition. A bunch of good records. Really looks like a good home to go dig through. ~ Texas
Wow! My mom would have loved that record collection. It brought back memories. But some of them, I think were before her time. Or I guess I should say before MY (listening) time lol because she probably knew every single artist. Great finds, Rene’!!
What exciting finds! Honey all those albums should bring you bucks. Some of those young whipper snappers we're old when I was a kid and I'm 66. And those meter things. I would maybe get a hold of the guy who fixed your radio? ???? This was short but so fun. I might watch it again to go through them records. Ha! My great Uncle Joe Dillow worked on the Rail Road with Johnny Cash. My grandma was smitten. She loved to tell us about how Uncle Joe would bring Johnny home for lunch or dinner. LOL!!!
At 10:58 my parents console stereo/turntable combo came with that record and a bunch more records! There was a space inside the console to hold records. We had that Mary Poppins album too!
That record collection... wow, that looks a lot like my mom and dad's collection from when I was a kid. My mom had albums and dad had 8 tracks. Mom had a thing for Freddie Fender, she loved when he would sing in Spanish. My personal favorite from those was the Gene Autry Christmas Album, I remember Mom would play it all the time around Christmas. Love the memories, thanks for sharing.
I love that tub of meters! I have a few things like that, but most aren't in that type of condition. Wowza! The V and A on the last one is probably volts and amps.
Great content, excellent editing, not too long, not too short, no doubt about it :-) . I like the highly collectible antique Watt-, Volt- and Ampèremeters in museum quality. Great score, Renée ! Greets from GER, U.
My aunt had The Singing Nun album. I loved to listen to it. My family had several of the Christmas albums you showed. Great video today. Thanks for sharing this.
Hey - wow - this house just keeps on giving. Helps to take the blues out of the slower days, I hope. These videos have been a lot of fun (and educational) to watch. Hard to look at those electrical meters strictly as tools in this day and age. I bet those planes are worth something to the right person too. My parents used to have a stereo cabinet full of LPs and I could smell them as you were going through your pile (though your pile may not have smelt as nice). Someone else commented about the Jose Jimenez character and it being a throwback to when folks were less thoughtful about lampooning other cultures. If you've ever seen "The Right Stuff," Alan Shepard apparently used to quote some of the Jimenez space routines until one day he and the other astronauts were given some sort of enema or something. Desperate for the facilities, Shepard had the good fortune (misfortune, I'm sure he thought) to be escorted - very slowly - by a young orderly named Gonzalez who tells him, "You know, Mr. Shepard, me and my friends think your Jose Jimenez imitation is A-OK. But what you're doing with it is B-A-D." Not sure if that was true or made for the movie.
Loved the Firestone Christmas records! Great memories. When my dad was young in the 50’s they’d shoot out the insulators on the phone poles for target practice. A lot of guys did that! Renee... In The Ghetto is a GREAT song by Elvis!
Sing along with Mitch was a weekly show and you followed the bouncing ball on the words to the song. We could listen to rock n roll in the car old country songs. I do not like country but do know all the words. T.V. used to go off air at nite, they played Elvis spiritual music my Mom fell in love with him and bought his album.
Hi Renee. I had fun just seeing the record collection. I love one song that belongs to the Beatles it is The Yellow Submarine. I always have fun singing along with them. Thank you for Elvis and Dennis The Mennis. God Bless you Renee, and have a fun day. See you in the next video. Stay safe. Maria. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Lots of 50s 60s 70s country legends! My dad loved most of them. Probably MANY keepers in that lot of albums. The Christmas selection is cool and the tv and film soundtracks too!
Mel Tillis shudder when he talked but never when he sang. He really sounded good! This from a 79 year old retired high school math teacher. I love your videos.
Hi Miss Moose..🙂🙂.Those old meters will bring in a few bucks...We had that "Bonanza" record when I was a kid in 1963.....I made a video a few tears ago .."Project for a Sunday Afternoon" showing it and playing a few songs from it @ 19.20 mark... unfortunately it only worth around $6...but great memories if you watched Bonanza ...You mom has good taste.....I like Tom Jones too!! haha.....Buzz
You would enjoy John Mulaney's routine called "The Salt & Pepper Diner" about "It's Not Unusual". It's on RUclips. It has some language but it's very funny.
I had that Mary Poppins album growing up! I loved that movie and knew every word to every song. I just told my granddaughter last week that I want to rent that movie and watch it with her. 💖
What great finds! I love some of those old album covers, they'd make great wall art (and t-shirts if you can scan and print them). The antique meters are an amazing find, they are so pretty.
More interesting finds, what fun those old records are. When my father in law passed we found a bunch, just donated them. We have so many of our own still. Why we save the stuff I will never know,my son is like me so he will have a bunch of stuff as well.l.o.l. Have fun honey..👍😁🙏☮
The insulators are threaded and screw onto the wood post. They are a dime a dozen around here. TIP: THREADLESS Insulators are the ones worth money. If you look into the insulator and see threads , usually electric and low value but if you don't see threads, they are likely from Railroad telegraph and worth MUCH MORE, I'm sharing this video again!
Those meters were so pretty even though I have no idea what they do or are for. I love the records. I have dozens and am a poor judge of what is worth anything as I like so many different kinds of music thanks to my gradeschool music teacher who once sang opera. Now that I don't really care for because most is in another language and I don't understand it but I do even like the occasional polka. Your house clean out is exciting! Please stay safe and be careful! ❤
The green Firestone Christmas album is one that my mother has when I was a child. She bought it for $1.00 plus 3 cents tax haha. I remember because she had me pick it up for her. Thanks for the memory.
I used to love my grandmother's crawl space. It was filled with lots of Xmas treasures. You got some good finds. keep the Gene Autry record. I have one and it's a real classic! Some of those jackets are so awesome. And a Elvis Xmas to boot! Eureka!! Dennis the menace record? Wow just wow!
My mom and grandma used to get a new Firestone Christmas album every year. Some Elvis records can be worth money, but have to be in good condition. I would look up some of the old country western ones. Especially Johnny Cash.
I saw Tammy Wynette live in Webster, Mass. She was a little older, but wow, could she sing! I wasn't a fan of that kind of music, but I loved her. I have nice pictures I took. I was so close to her on stage, I could have grabbed her ankle.
Hope there are no skeletons in the attic! Calling Rod Serling! Ah, my type of find...those insulators...ME, I like them...have a nice collection...some from Europe! The wooden case pieces are very old lab and field amp and volt meters...a great find...I'd be donating them to the vintage tech museum...did so with two I had. They were generally used in labs...very precise measuring instruments. Those are beauties! Those Christmas Albums...have some of those in my collection. The Elvis album is a great album...he loved gospel as well. You have found a treasure in music...I remember when they were released! "Sing Along With Mitch"...those albums were so popular! He had a TV show from 1961-1963. Jose Jimenez was a popular stand-up comedian...that album was recorded at the Hungry i...the birthplace of a number of talents...was here in San Francisco...in the 50's and 60's. Again, great finds...I'm jealous!!
You kinda do look like Julie Andrews ....lol.........glad i found your channel, your vids relax me after a stressful day for some odd reason. Maybe its your laugh and enthusiam for the vintage. Thanks!
You gotta listen to " Before the next teardrop falls" by Freddie Fender" Then listen to "Wasted days and wasted nights" Some of the best American Tejano TexMex music.
The meters are wonderful. The wood cases are in amazing condition. Such a great find.
That Freddy fender before the next teardrop falls is one of the best records ever made. Probably not worth anything but give it a listen before you pass it on. I promise you’ll want to keep it. Love your videos. You’re a good person.
OMG I love listening to Christmas music year round, especially if I'm having a rough day. It always makes me smile.
Hello Ms. Renee. Love the record collection. Brought back a ton of memories. Thank you for sharing. I enjoy your videos.
The bin of salesman's tools are so awesome!!!
I love the old meters! Just to display!!!
Girl you have the greatest job

Marty Robbins sings so beautifully 😍
My cousin, Diane Adams, was a member of the Young Americans. She had an amazing voice and Maria Callas heard her sing at one of tv programs they were on and wanted her to study opera. Vicki Lawrence, was also, a member of the Young Americans with Diane. Thank you for sharing your adventure into the crawl space! And bringing back some memories for me. Fran
My son is studying electrical systems and engineering. He'd be right into that stuff. Amazing how old and well preserved those are.
Those meters are Steam Punk GOLD! So cool...😎
Just a few nice things in the crawl space. Those meters are in incredible condition. A bunch of good records. Really looks like a good home to go dig through. ~ Texas
Good score on the record albums Renee 😄👍 I recognize almost all of them 🎼🎵🎶❤️ oh such memories 🤗
Wow! My mom would have loved that record collection. It brought back memories. But some of them, I think were before her time. Or I guess I should say before MY (listening) time lol because she probably knew every single artist.

When I was a kid we used to watch Mitch Miller every week, one of our cats had a black spot that looked like a beard and we called him Mitch!

Awesome Christmas music. I would have so much fun listening to it! Now maybe there is a really nice record player ha ha
We had some of those Christmas Albums! Very cool finds!
Mel Tillis shudder when he talked but never when he sang. He really sounded good! This from a 79 year old retired high school math teacher. I love your videos.
What a fun day indeed. I’m very much looking forward to seeing if they have vintage clothes too.

Wow never knew their was a Dennis The Mennace Album loved the show when I was a kid, poor Mr. Wilson 😄 hahaha. Great treasures
Neither did I!
I had that Mary Poppins album growing up! I loved that movie and knew every word to every song. I just told my granddaughter last week that I want to rent that movie and watch it with her. 💖
So much wisdom in it
@@helenbailey8419 yes! I can't wait to watch it with Makayla. She's seen the modern version but it's not the same.
What a score on the Freddy Fender record...😊
Lots of great country
What great finds! I love some of those old album covers, they'd make great wall art (and t-shirts if you can scan and print them). The antique meters are an amazing find, they are so pretty.
Great records!
Clean and not dead (or alive) is always good!!
Those records all deserve care. Vinyl collectors would eat those up!
Not really. Most of those would be in the bargain bins at donation stores. I am a collector.
I would love to have those records great find.
Fun records!
More interesting finds, what fun those old records are. When my father in law passed we found a bunch, just donated them. We have so many of our own still. Why we save the stuff I will never know,my son is like me so he will have a bunch of stuff as well.l.o.l. Have fun honey..👍😁🙏☮
What a great day for sure! Happy you and this house crossed paths! Can’t wait to see what you find next! 🤗
These records are from my generation. I remember the Sing Along with Mitch at our house. :)
those wooden pegs go inside the glass insulators to hold them in place on the pole
The sticks with the insulators are the pegs. You screw the insulators on them and then they put them on the telephone pole.
Those meters were so pretty even though I have no idea what they do or are for. I love the records. I have dozens and am a poor judge of what is worth anything as I like so many different kinds of music thanks to my gradeschool music teacher who once sang opera. Wow, the young Johny Cash!
The glass insulators in the box are cool. The antique meters are worth a bunch, might need to be auctioned.
By George you do look like Julie Andrews. Those albums are wonderful!
Great finds! Cool records as well.

I hope you took all of the albums. I recognize them all. ✌️♥️
Good record collection find, hope you keep many of them.
Wow you find so much vintage and interesting items!!!!
Those Meters are so cool.
My mom and grandma used to get a new Firestone Christmas album every year. Some Elvis records can be worth money, but have to be in good condition. I would look up some of the old country western ones. Especially Johnny Cash.
Great video, Renee - Thank you! The electrical meters, in their boxes, run about $150 apiece.
The colored insulators (aside from green) are worth $$$. I'm with you re the Christmas music. 🎶🎄⛄🦌
An excellent day for you , TFS , such fun to watch your joy 😃
Nice albums! I bet they're in good condition, too.
I saw Tammy Wynette live in Webster, Mass. She was a little older, but wow, could she sing! I wasn't a fan of that kind of music, but I loved her. I have nice pictures I took. I was so close to her on stage, I could have grabbed her ankle.
Great finds. Tina
Vinyl records are popular again and worth a lot of money. Elvis Christmas is one of them
Got Discogs? There are 122 copies offered, starting at 95 cents.
The records were fun, brought back some memorys, especially the Gene Autry Christmas album!❤
great info
The last meter in the tote, measures VOLTS "V" on the left and AMPS "A" on the right

It was a nice mixture of records. I'm used to finding the "Greatest Polka Music" collections haha
@@PaperandMoose Hope you have a record player...some of those are fine listening,
you'd enjoy the Christmas albums, I'm sure!
The Firestone albums were premium items at the gas station... I believe. I grew up with the Pink one with Julie Andrews. :) All of them are "keepers"!
The insulators screw onto the wooden pegs. Very cool. 🙂
You kinda do look like Julie Andrews ....lol.........glad i found your channel, your vids relax me after a stressful day for some odd reason. Maybe its your laugh and enthusiam for the vintage. Thanks!
cool items!
Looking on line those meters could bring you a chunk of cash. Good job.
I had that Singing Nun when I was a child Dominique one of the songs I could probably still sing.
You gotta listen to " Before the next teardrop falls" by Freddie Fender" Then listen to "Wasted days and wasted nights" Some of the best American Tejano TexMex music.
Jimenez is pronounced He main ez.
What great treasures you found in that crawl space!💕
