This was a lot of fun! So funny how he whispers. I think I would like this guy. You two can sure get a lot done together. Interesting stuff.❤️😘💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌞🐦🐦🐈🐈🎶🎶🎶🎶✌️👶🏞️🏞️🏞️🏞️
I thought the same. Had to stop the video to make sure it wasn't mine beeping. Mine is in a very awkward place at top of stairs that I can't reach. Have to get a neighbor to change the battery for me. LOL!!
It was at this house :0) One would need to rig up some type of ladder & platform to attempt to change the battery. What an odd place to put the smoke detector!
☺☺☺ All the new socks, etc. Might havebeen Christmas, birthday, and Fathers Day gifts. When I helped my Grandma clean out Grandpa's dresser after he passed away. Grandpa thought his old clothes still had plenty of wear left in them. Sweet memories❣
Yeh Paper and Moose’s friend! Hope you tell him how much we all appreciate him including you in the clean-outs, and allowing you to film. He does make me smile when he whispers when you are recording! The late owner kept a good house and had a few interesting bits and bobs. That jacket is great.
Another fascinating look into someone else’s life by PAM. Thanks for taking us along Renee. It cracked me up how you guys were whispering all the time. I used to have that Bay City Rollers album. S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y NIGHT!
Renee, regarding the Bay City Rollers album. They decided that they would name the group wherever a dart would land on a map. The dart landed on Bay City, Michigan, where I live.
Hi Renee. Not bad of a clean out. I am so sorry for their loss. Happy to see you helping with the cleaning. You are so sweet. Thank you Renee for sharing the video. See you in the next clean out. Stay safe.maria.👍💗👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍💗💗💗💗💗😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧⛈⛈⛈⛈⛈⛈⛈⛈⛈🌧🌧🌧🌧💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🌩🌩🌩🌩🌩🌩🌩🌩
Hi Renee, my friend and I cleaned out after a friend and I was able to give a lot of nice linens to shelters and clothing to various charities. Good for you. Tina
Awesome video. I really enjoy seeing inside all of the old houses and all the content that is there. I had a bedroom set just like the grey one except mine was a tan with light brown around the edges. That will make a really nice set for someone, looks to be in good condition. Stay safe and God Blss
What's funny is the stuff people go after at these estate sales. Everyday things I have in my house. Not that I would think of as old or valuable, just things that are over 25 years old.
I had the video going and kept hearing the beep of the smoke detector. I started looking at mine not knowing it was in the video. Anyway I missed the video because I was trying to figure out where the beeping was coming from. I started the video over. Then realized it was on the video. Hahaha I laughed and laughed. Thanks for the laugh.
The Clean Outs seem to be getting BETTER & BETTER!! The Beatles album that you showed, sells for around $24.00 IF it has the while label on the record and around $30.00 IF it has the green label. All in all there looks to be some neat stuff, the belt buckets should sell really good!
Hello Renee. I’m so glad to see you. This is fun nice clean house. Hey maybe take a soccer ball and throw at the smoke alarm maybe it will knock the battery out. Lol. I had one in a house that was high up and the latter I had was not tall enough so I got my broom and kept swinging until I knocked it down. I love the mental health book would love to know some of what they thought would help back then. Take care.☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖🥰🥰🥰👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼💯💯💯
Gr8 video and content Rene.. Can't wait for pt.2 tomorrow and seeing what goodies you have in store for all of us.. Hopefully that smell will be out of there by then..😂😪😢😭😜 Stay safe all..👍💕🔥⚾😷
This was fun. Unfortunately you probably didn't get to see what the family took. Probably really neat things. Oh well. Hope you get some of the photos.
Like that barrister book case! I have one...could use another! Well...we all have to go!! Honky Tonk Piano...there was a real craze back in 1959-60...I still have my LP collection: Knuckles O'Toole; Crazy Otto [German artist]; Lou Stein and others...love 'em. Least it's not a dead human! The fellow I worked with, actually found one! That was before I met him. Those old medical books look just like some I have in my vintage book library.
@@PaperandMoose Sounds like a winner, being I restore and refinish vintage radio cabinets and furniture, the damaged area would be no problem. Being those cases stack as individual units, moving them are a cinch. very interesting adventure for you!
When my Mother had her record albums years ago, we were never allowed to touch the surfaces. They had to be in pristine condition. We could only touch the edges.
Interesting. In Germany you have to pay a company to clean out a house. Depending on the contents, the companies sometimes share the proceeds of things they sell.
That “locker” in the basement is likely an old kitchen unit from the 20s or 30s. The tall part would have been for the broom & mop, and the rest as pantry & other storage. The bathroom is huge because it could have originally been a bedroom. Back in 1910 there would likely have been an outhouse.
I remember those medical books like this encyclopedias they were so great with the skeletal system with the plastic and the color with really cool we grew up with all that stuff
Open some windows while you are there. If you have a fan you might get some if the smell out with the fan and open windows. If they have an attic fan turn that on with windows open clear it out really fast. Put some boxes of baking soda in the fridge .
There are secret compartments on each side of the little door inside the desk/bookcase you are going through. People forget about them they are for letters.
If you keep the ketchup.for another couple of years it will be a vintage.piece. The bathroom was beautiful. Definitely.need a Queen Anne chair in mine what a brilliant idea. It is kind of funny we always expect the great decade records to pop up in every house but I remember my family and it would have been definitely more the "sing along with Mitch" type of records.but it is kind of nice because every family had their own favourite playlist and we would all listen together. Great find on those socks and boxers.
How would we get to the alarm? It is positioned on the ceiling above the stairs at the highest point... we would need a ladder and some type of platform, possibly another ladder, to even reach it.
I could take whatever I wanted, but I'm trying to limit my intake to either ephemera, smaller items, or items easier for me to sell quickly. If there would have been vintage shirts at this home, sign me up!
I belong to a minimalist decluttering group. Do you guys have a strategy to getting this kind of job done? Our strategies begin with black plastic bags, going through and getting rid of the trash. Like you’d probably just grab all that pull dated food. You could also have a recycle sack for paper - like there’s no need to keep a record of bills anymore. I just wondered because I moved from a 1650 sqft house to a 960 sqft house. I’m moving AGAIN & I need to declutter big time.
I liked this. I was waiting for you to find vintage motorcycle t-shirts. My boyfriend loves his Harley Davidsons and I love some of the shirts. He was very clean. Strange about the amount of socks, t-shirts and thermals. It would be fun to know why so many? Fun video.
Almost all of the clothes, except for a few jackets... and the socks haha, were removed by the family. I'm sure there were probably some Harley shirts in his clothing, but glad if the family decided to keep them for the memories.
My smoke detector beeps either when the battery is dieing, or it's extremely hot in my apartment. I have high ceilings, and live in an attic apartment. I actually have to bring the detector down lower.
When you do things like this do you they pay you in labor cost like cash or do you get to take things to resell Just curious to see other Ideas for income
I can't wait until you (maybe in partnership with Taco) get your own clean-out jobs. It is one thing to be a paid helper but more profitable for you to also be the one reselling the items that are found in the cleanout. It was nice that this one was mostly clean items with the only negatives being the dead animals in the fridge and the urine in the basement. I am looking forward to part 2!
That was cute "undies under the bed" New in package. You know since they are still in original package Walmart will take them back. They will give you a card with $$ on it or actual cash.
This was a lot of fun! So funny how he whispers. I think I would like this guy. You two can sure get a lot done together. Interesting stuff.❤️😘💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌞🐦🐦🐈🐈🎶🎶🎶🎶✌️👶🏞️🏞️🏞️🏞️
I kept hearing the smoke alarm and thought it was mine, even paused you and put a new battery in it!!! 😂

It was at this house :0) One would need to rig up some type of ladder & platform to attempt to change the battery. What an odd place to put the smoke detector!
In addition to the fire alarm I could almost smell what Renee described!
I thought it was our smoke alarm as well...ours does that when the power goes off..but only for a few minutes.
Me too.... I went and checked my own fire detectors, lol.... It was making me nuts.
Wow that lawyers bookcase looks immaculate, big bucks in my neck of the woods. Thanks for the awesome episode Renee
Love all your videos
, even the ones that you think may be boring. They’re like a good conversation with a friendly neighbor. Always relaxing and fun!
Great Barley leather belts and buckles great resell
You are a hard worker. Always on the go. Nice video fun to see how their people live. Take care. Margaret n Iceland
That Super Fly is good.
East or West René is the best💓 always I enjoy your episodes....makes me stress free ...
Lol. I started checking for which of my smoke alarms were chirping

Very well kept home for sure!
I wondered why he whispered. He’s amongst friends 😂
WoW, lots of value items ! 👍❤️👍👍👍
Great clean out and treasures, Rene
You’re such a hard worker.

good thing the dart didn't land on Intercourse PA 😂.
Haha so true!
Harvest by Neil Young is highly collectible!! Just bought it for my son-in-law for Christmas.

Love these videos. Hope you find alot to keep.
That cute cupboard was similar to one we had and we called it the broom cupboard because the narrow tall side took the broom and ironing board

At 22:06 as you were flipping through the second Home Medical Book, I thought I saw an old 20.00 bill inside the book.
This was fun and yes I saw many treasures . Interesting what people collect and treasure in their life. I hope you get your share of these cool items.
What's funny is the stuff people go after at these estate sales. Everyday things I have in my house. Not that I would think of as old or valuable, just things that are over 25 years old.

Good idea on the soccer ball or the broom, why we didn't think of that, who knows!

Renee, could you please collect all those doilies (which you always pass!!!) and send them to me? ;) I love this stuff!
Clean outs are fun to watch. Never know what you may find.
This was fun. Unfortunately you probably didn't get to see what the family took. Probably really neat things. Oh well. Hope you get some of the photos.

The book case was a nice find! There was a little damage on the top, but it was still a nice piece. So lightweight and easy to move as well!
The record you held up for the Camera - LATIN JAZZ QUINTET- averages around *$350 online! *depending on the condition)
I like these vlogs . Keep smiling Renee! 😀
After erasing your SD card, you need that book on how Not to Have A Nervous Breakdown! 😆 🤣..
I think the smoke alarm would drive me nuts. Have fun in your pursuit. ✌♥️🦋😁🌊🌴
I don't know how the neighbors can't hear it... It's in such a bad place to even try to replace the battery!
Ty .. very cool.👊👍💯
I liked that hay fever book and the Nervous breakdowns and how to avoid them. My kind of books.😂😂😂
What! I've been looking everywhere for a battery!! Paper and Moose, we assure you the audio of your videos is really, really good!
Interesting. In Germany you have to pay a company to clean out a house. Depending on the contents, the companies sometimes share the proceeds of things they sell.

I think you might find some good things here!
Those med books are amazing
Antique furniture was sometimes made from several types of wood. To make it uniform they would use a dark stain
Love the blonde mid-century bedroom suite!
Oh my gosh! Really cool. I always think of my house and my kids...gah!
I remember those medical books like this encyclopedias they were so great with the skeletal system with the plastic and the color with really cool we grew up with all that stuff
I always enjoy vintage/antique medical books, for both the illustrations and the descriptions of medical practices and treatments.
That house is crazy with all the stairs
Also crazy that they put the smoke detector right in the middle above the stairs... I'd take a stick and just knock that thing off!
Open some windows while you are there. If you have a fan you might get some if the smell out with the fan and open windows. If they have an attic fan turn that on with windows open clear it out really fast. Put some boxes of baking soda in the fridge .
The whispering…so cute. The smoke alarm….how is it we know that sound when we rarely hear it?
ty for sharing
So fascinating to see what people collect, buy in bulk (underwear and socks anyone 😉) etc. Thanks, as always, for bringing us along.
Lots of folding tables. They are wonderful to have. I have several.
That was fun!
The Bay City Rollers lol lol i had every album real same the lead singer just passed away
There are secret compartments on each side of the little door inside the desk/bookcase you are going through. People forget about them they are for letters.
Wow. I need a friend like Renee's!
Now that was fun! Except for the alarm which I kept thinking was mine. 🤣
You’re very entertaining, just about chocked on my coffee with the need for “ pictures of skin diseases!!!

Great statement on the records, the truth for sure.
I enjoy the clean out videos, just wonder how your friend and you store all your finds you pick up? Have a lovely day!:)
He has storage and also fills up his large vehicle for the flea market (he sells 3 days a week).
If you take the batteries out of the smoke alarm it will stop beeping. Interesting clean out I hope you get some goodies!
How would we get to the alarm? It is positioned on the ceiling above the stairs at the highest point... we would need a ladder and some type of platform, possibly another ladder, to even reach it.

Cool.
Old new stock like the socks and shirts sell for big money on Ebay.
Do you get to keep anything or buy anything? Old packages of underwear sells for quite a bit!
I could take whatever I wanted, but I'm trying to limit my intake to either ephemera, smaller items, or items easier for me to sell quickly. If there would have been vintage shirts at this home, sign me up!

When filming in the rooms you should have opened the window shades for more light
I would pull all drawers out to see what may have fallen behind or if money or other stuff is taped under them

Yes??!
Crosby Stills Nash is good. Neil Young is good. Marvin Gay is good. People love them
👍 good video ❗❗
that smoke alarm is bugging me. How can you stand it? my father saved graham cracker boxes to store things in. funny to see them here.

I was a big Bay City Rollers fan.
If my brain is working right I remember seeing another reseller selling ‘vintage’ Hanes underwear for a crazy high price.
Part time picker maybe?
You can always use a good picture of skin disease!🤣
If you put Vaseline on your nostrils you do not smell the odor. My uncle was a policeman and he told me about it. Lots of treasures today.
I always heard to do Vicks Vapor rub under the nose to help with bad odors. Never heard of Vaseline?
barrister bookcase's-they stack-
I had that Bay City Rollers Album :) :)
Do u get to pick out what you want
What flea market are you taking this too?
what do you get out of the clean outs its a lot of work
Do you get to keep some of the stuff?
👍🏻
The military boots might be ones for paratroupers

Those black boots are US Army "Mickey Mouse" winter boots. No longer made, but still in demand.
Thank you for the information!
Very interesting,
Get the glass door knobs off the doors
How can anyone give Renee a thumbs down on a clean out? If you don’t like it just don’t watch her. Take your negativity someplace else.
they only do it cause they can
I remember Mitch Miller ( Sing along with Mitch) was on NBC in the sixties! Imagine the whole Family singing together!
My grandparent always watched Mitch! Remember Christmas albums too.
I’ve got my husband checking our smoke detectors, may be this video, Lol!
I was beginning to think that was a ghost whispering to you. 👻
Me too! Lol
