Filmmaker uses Character Creator and iClone to enhance MetaHumans and Unreal Scenes | Wicked Flower

Robert Saitzyk is an independent filmmaker as well as an experienced editor and post-production manager who has a passion for not only the creative process but for all things technical. Robert’s background includes producing and editing high profile music videos for such artists as Keith Urban and he has also directed three music videos for singer-songwriter George Adrian.
    His latest project is entitled “Wicked Flower,” a short film to be made using Unreal Engine and MetaHumans with Reallusion’s Character Creator and iClone.

    This is fantastic. Definitely needs tutorial on the workflow..Especially learning how you are now able to use CC4 and IC8 with meta human in unreal. I only know if using reallusion in unreal with live link. So this is huge!

    is the pipeline start with creating character in CC4 and import to UE5 ? or creating firsta metahuman and import to CC4 ?

    Feel free to prove me wrong, but I feel like Metahumans is a bit of a pointless extra step when CC4 and iClone 8 have the import autosetup and live link plugins. With their great tools and that your reskinning with CC4 textures, i just don't get the point of going through Metahumans to get to the Unreal Engine. Or am I missing something?

      imo while CC4 characters can achieve great levels of photorealism, MH topology, anim curves for facial animation and MH animator make them potentially more photorealistic. Even more with CC4 materials.

      Just starting out here, and yea I don't see the point yet, esp when I can't even render at the highest setting. I don't think I can really tell the difference in the final product between MH vs CC4 character. But then again I'm still just starting out

    it's really bad, looking at the character's running movements and facial muscles are very lack of emotion, the way the camera transitions is not smooth, I think it looks like a commercial for a game in the 2000s.
