  • Sprouts:
    Soak ¼ cup sprouts over night.
    Drain and keep in a seive for two days.
    Shake in between After sprouting add any vegetables, lime and salt to make salad
    Macros - 1 cup sprouted dal
    Calories: 70 grams
    Carbs- 10
    Fat- 1
    Protein - 4
    Benifits: Healthy , hygienic Low calorie, filling
    Versatile- can make salad, dosai, dal etc with it.
    High in fiber, due to sprouting vitamins and fatty acid content increases.

    I tried germinating green moong daal ; it sprouted well after 2 days. When I cooked like dal, there was a slight sour taste. Should sprouts not be cooked? Did I over sprout it (more than what it should be) or over cook it? Didn't try eating raw before I cooked. So, couldn't distinguish if the sourness came after cooking or was there after sprouting. Your reply will help me correct and try again. Thanks

    Hi , can you explain how much of sprouts soaking is ok for one person( pls provide in spoon quantity),because I take 3 handfuls of sprout , and have a doubt that is that having 3 handfuls increase my weight gain (because there is a sudden increase in my weight), pls clarify mam , waiting for your reply.😍
