Beau leaves the country and Hollywood shuts down
“Edge of Tomorrow” is definitely one of my favorite TC movies.
9:24 I pluralize it as Missions: Impossible, like Attorneys General 😂
MI:II doesn’t exist.
They weirdly went from Mission Impossible to Mission Impossible III. Odd, but it works. 🙃
I was just annoyed at that one character death. I don’t even know if I’m sad yet. I’m just disappointed.
Missing the normal pod :(
Just a little detail that shows how good the writing is was kitritch literally says to Ethan it is my job to use you and anything or anyone that will help protect the country. In the end Ethan tells the girl hes going to try and use you to prepare her so she knows and it’s not even a question of is he good or bad he’s literally always going to be doing what he does for the country. While they said all of the world will be fighting for this power which is what makes it so awesome that Ethan is the man to stop all of them
Don't get me wrong I did enjoy the new M.I - but I can't help but feel it's a bit redundant? Feels very by the numbers and following the exact same flow as fallout (car chase followed by three party's, club scene etc) so I'm left like "I've seen this before"
Also think switching out a highly capable female character for a slight damsel in distress is unfortunate as we were making real headway on this franchise with female characters following them all usually being switched out movie to movie.
The Nerds should cover Season 2 of the Silo. Rebecca Ferguson is really good in that show.
I actually really like the movie. They did a lot of things right... just not the human villans.
Gabriel is nothing more then "Bad evil guy who likes to torture people and kill their loved ones" No 7859. Generic one liners, no character depth, no own agenda... he is just the human puppet of the Entity.
And Paris is just "Crazy killer who likes to fight" No 456672... Her "Turn" came completely out of left field. I mean... why? Yes Hunt didnt kill her, that means now she is loyal to him? She is a psycho killer! That should infuriate her and make her hate Hunt, not like him all of a sudden.
A really good movie, but those 2 characters took down the entire quality of the movie. Not much, but still...
Great movie. Minor complaints but nothing that ruins the experience. Great cast, music, action, characters. I saw it twice. Once with a friend and second time with my mom fir her birthday. Everyone had fun.
I think we need to watch part 2 before we can rank it. So far I like it more than Fallout.
Saw this last week glad nerd soup covered this, awesome movie
Well, there are some really big plot holes, but I am in for the action…and killing off one of the beloved characters is unforgivable. :(
I actually think Ilsa's death was faked by the team to throw off the Entity. The whole scene seemed a little suspicious and when they give Ethan the ultimatum in the club on who would die, Ilsa and him share a look that kinda seems like they were anticipating it.
Glad you’re back boys
Sorry Aaron, but I'm going to Barbie opening weekend because I have seem a jillion Oppenheimer docs, read the books, saw the opera twice (Doctor Atomic by John Adams). The Barbie trailer killed it with "Do you guys ever think about dying?" I have no idea what will happen, so i cannot wait. The theater I go to picked up Oppenheimer last minute so they could do a Barbieheimer, so there's a chance I might.
The sleight of hand of the key was quite comical. Does nobody check their pockets? haha
Hope you guys review Hijack with Idris Elba, it’s riveting 😊
The pacing to me felt weird at times, but I still enjoyed it. I don't think the pacing ruined the movie.
Hello
Tom Cruise is gonna let himself get shot on camera at the end of Pt 2, passing the torch and dying.
This will cement his legacy as the most committed action star of all time.
It is written.
Do you guys ever plan on putting out good pods again? Or is it just random reviews every 3 weeks from here on out. Guys are turning into Marvin bagley
Why no Ted lasso review
I've only seen the third movie. 🤷♂️
I'm never going to listen to those Successions reviews to get this stupid you're Nash joke. I haven't watched the show and now I never will. I will die on this hill, I've gone too far at this point.
I dunno what happened to this pod those Nash jokes and this whole year in general has been basically trash. I just listen to nerd soup from 2018-2020 from now on. No teddy really kills this pod. Just no dynamic anymore
@@morgancassidy6598havent listen in a few years. Teddy left?
He had a kid and got married and is never on the pod. Nash is basically never on. Marissa is never on it’s just Aaron and beau slurping marvel and reviewing singular movies and tv shows and putting out 1 show a month basically. It’s like watching your fav athlete just mysteriously suck in their prime it’s bizarre
@@morgancassidy6598marissa appearance is on Patreon features.
Okay this movie sounds like they just ripped off the Shia LaBeouf movie eagle eye(2008) which was about an evil AI killing politicians that try to take over the world and several things you guys been talking about sounds like it was directly ripped from that lol I haven't seen the New mission impossible movie so I couldn't 100% tell you but I'm just going what the fuck 😂
WARNING BEFORE WATCH THIS FILM : SEEING REBECCA FERGUSON'S ILSA FAUST CHARACTER LYING DEAD AND BECOMING A CORPSE CAN BE HEARTBREAKING
