Best John Wayne ever, he deserved the Best Actor award for his performance in this movie
Definitely
Get off your horse 🐴
You are absolutely right 👍🏼👍🏼
Absolutely true best performance of his career love Anthony Fed ex lol
HANDS DOWN THIS WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST OF ALL WESTERN MOVIES. Dad was the spitting image of Duke Wayne Dad was taller than Duke by 6 inches.
My favorite movie of all time.
Mine too, have watched it so many times
The Searchers and Paths of Glory are 2 of the best movies ever made.
The greatest western ever made dont argue
❤well said,I could not agree more
@@ronaldkelly1878 Hey Ronald 👍
The only movie that ever saw just with my Dad! I was 12!
In my mind it is the greatest Western ever made!❤
I don't know if it's the Best Western ever made, but it is one of the best.
@@paulyeatman303 well,I have to correct you- it remains the greatest Western ever made; as Steve O said- don’t argue
Everybody gets old or dies. Doesn't change this films epic status
John Wayne personally told me, searchers was his favorite movie!
Although I never watched The Searchers, I did know of most of the actors. Thanks for the details about how they died, etc.
Great Western , in the top 5 all time and just maybe the best ever . An All-Star cast , that will not be forgotten, God Bless !!!!
Agree should’ve got the academy award
My all-time favorite western is "Once upon a time in the west" but this flick here "The Searchers" is definitely one of my favorites 👍
Great movie and great stars. Thank you for sharing.
My favorite western movie.
One of the best actresses ever!
love the movie excelent cast john wayne should have got an oscar for this movie one of his best 10 out of 10
Yes that was the king of westerns.
Did you all catch that Ken Curtis is the actor who had the fist fight with Jeffery Hunter?
Yes, Yes he was.
Best Western ever!
Magnificient film,seen it many times.
Was Vera Miles' age really 270 (!!!) in 1956? (video at 2:08 mark)
Said twenty seven in audio, so writer goofed.
They should have looked for such obvious errors before publishing this.
270 years old. Hot dam!
@@butchkaminsky9470 didn't look a day over 180
This entire video is FUBAR!
I haven't seen this film for many years but had no idea Lana Wood (Natalie's sister) was in the film.
Ya she was the child that SCAR kid napped.
She plays the young Debbie.
❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
The murder of Natalie Wood by her husband has always been a hard occurrence for me to live with. She really was a beautiful woman who was a great actress. She was married to the wrong guy. Thanks for doing this show because it really is interesting.
Agree. Wagner and Walken both know exactly what happened. We can guess who got away with it.
@@roseb.1537 You are 100% correct. Thanks for your comment!
Harry Carey, Jr.'s autobiography is fantastic.
Best western by a mile
Good content but you should look up a few synonyms for "sadly"
Unfortunately?
Sounds like a computer giving the information.
At 2:37, Vera Miles looks like "the old moo" in a British sitcom called "Till Death Us To Part", played by Dandy Nichols.
Melhor atuação do Wayne
I remember a young boy in the family who seems to have been missed out
terry crabb ,, Correct Robert Lyden played Debbie`s Brother Ben Edwards they also missed Pippa Scott who played Debbie`s older sister Lucy Edwards ..
Twenty seven is written mathematically as 27 not 270.
Up load the movie if possible thanks
What about Pippa Scott who played Lucy Edwards?
Warning: beginner grade video, apparently not even checked for errors.
Patrick Wayne sure looked good for a man 50 years old! Then they had him being 16. Which one us is it fella?
Robert Wagner , hmmm , makes one wonder , right !!
Vera Miles in 1956 Age 270?😊😊
That older picture is not Vera Miles that is Maureen Ohara.
What about that girl , who was given as a wife to one of the searchers. She got kicked out of bed. Felt a bit sad at that scene. She played an Indian girl.
Looks like Jeff Hunter held up the best. Well, he died young.
My vote for the greatest western is Shane.
Robot commentator
What they looked like in 1985? Did you mean 1956??
vera miles was 270 years old in 1956, and looking great for her age!!!!
No died 1995
Where's Lana wood's on screen sister get it right love Anthony Fed ex lol
Uselless narrator
0:14 - 1985? WTF?
Olive Carey was a she, not a he!!
This woman on the right is Vera Miles from the UK not the American actress. 2:37 Who puts this crap together?
Natalie Woods real name wasn't Debbie Edwards,,it was Natashaie Zacharenko, jeeez....or are you listing them as the names of the character in the film? you said we would know their real names,,,, so I guess I'm confused..
If you had seen the movie you would know that was her character's name. They mentioned "Debbie" often enough in the film.
@@infantinofan I haven't seen it in a long time...and he threw me off saying we would know their real names.
Not then and now
As born in 1941 died 95 which made her54 when she died these channels are so fake
Vera Miles looks great for 270.
Hey dummy Patrick Wayne, age 50 in 1956. So if Mr. Wayne is in his 80s . So he would be 132 or so 🤔🤔 wow.
this guys pictures are fake
yeah Vera Miles is ridiculous...
@@alpha-omega2362 And Olive Carey's pic as Ma Jorgenson was actually from a different movie completely. I was from a Jimmy Stuart - Audey Murphy Movie, Northwest Passage I think but I don't remember.
All women want is a Back account 6 figures
The best Western ever filmed was "Ride the High Country" with Randolph Scott and Joel McCrea, not "The Searchers".
Where's John Wayne's dust?
Crap vera miles 1995
Onejacksseyedjack
Unforgiving was the best western .
Unforgivin?
Yes for a modern western.
I prefer "The Outlaw Josey Wales" myself
@@brianjones7907 Brian you gonna pull them pistols or whistle dixie ? 😁
@@STEVEOMEMES ,,,🐎Whooped em again josey🐴
patrick wayne was 16 not 50
Paths of Glory for sure
