Honestly, can't say i'm happy with all the taxidermy. If you want to preserve your pet than fine, but these two are actively going out and murdering animals that never did anything to them. For what? Fun? Pathetic! We are animals, human beings are decendents of the animal kingdom, and it's definitly not ok to go around murdering humans just for fun and then stuffing them and mounting them on your wall. Also I’m no seller just a collector and I’m afraid when I go to sell my collection in 20 years I’m gonna have to take a huge hit unless I do it myself which idk if I can with the sheer potential volume by then lol. Rn I’d value my collection at 20k knowing if I sold it all together I’d probably get 7k but I spent more the. That on it so I won’t sell I’m only 29

I am in awe of the price you got this collection for... Holy smokes! For reference, I sold 100 PSA Michael Jordan/Kobe Bryants that had some okay stuff in it (not nearly as rare as in this collection) for $10K. It was made mostly of PSA 9s and only had 10 PSA 10s total. When I comp'd it out (and I had a few POP 1's to make it difficult) it was around $14.5K. Just seeing what he had I would have thought 20-30K+ after grading. Congratulations on that pickup!! Another great episode! Fun to see some shots of Idaho (used to live out in Caldwell 15 years or so ago).
Thanks Durb! Idaho is pretty great. It seems like it was an insane price... but it'll come down to a handful of cards getting decent grades... otherwise it'll be a lot of work for slimmer margins... And, we didn't focus on it... but conditions on a few key cards weren't ideal. Regardless, I could spend all day working through late 90's basketball and getting to hand with John and Dawn was sooo worth it!
@SingaporeFriedrice Oh, I understand completely. Literally zero of the cards I had were in top loaders. I had them in penny sleeves and binders or those screwdowns lol. I had all mine from childhood. If you look at my VOD, you will see I got all sorts of grades on the spectrum, but lucky enough to receive mostly 8s-9s.
Haha. 10k would be a lot. Wait until you see how these cards graded… possibly broke even. That’s why you can’t pay top dollar for older cards. Super tough to grade.
@@CHASINGCARDBOARD I disagreed with Omar, I would have stuck with SGC.. PSA grades way too harsh.. With all of those refractors, complete sets, etc, it was just too many cards to expect all 9's and 10's.. Undoubtedly, your ratio would have been better with SGC.. But just my opinion... Anything that graded below a 9, you should crack and send to SGC.. Now that would be a fun video ;-)

I wanna cry I pack pulled 2 Jordan 95-96 hoops SKYVIEWS when I was 10 they were like 1:4800 for Jordan and I got 2 in a damn 5 day span one pack had a glenn Robinson one with he Jordan for $.99 and someone stole one and lost my entire Jordan collection of memorabilia figures,magazines,the 3d things the guy pulled out his box. I was spoiled but lost it in a fire at a storage unit lost my entire childhood ninja turtles, gi joe, X-Men ,and 12 yrs worth of allowance b day, and holiday cards mainly Jordan,Kobe , Griffey, Iverson etc ..,my mom even started buying packs when I was at school and she would be ripping 93-94 fleer to get the set she went all in even inserts and sent away for the 3 drexler exclusive cards and it's gone..I just started tryin to collect again about a yr back

You got a steal in my opinion on that collection. The rug was free. If that jordan rookie grades more than a 5 alone u covered ur costs. Those inserts are crazy expensive. Even raw. Amazing deal.

People need to learn how to sell their own things lol Especially if they are buying online why not just list it and get max value. Even with fees you'll get a lot more
Awesome episode and collection. But I was wondering, why wasn't the collection passed off to his kids? Also, personally, I don't think you should grade the refractors, especially the ones that have greened, cause most grading companies will lower the surface grade for the cards that have turned green.
Nobody has areal show that’s anything close to this. I love the way you spend the time and enjoy the people and the families And then share their stories. Not just the cards. You don’t just brush them off and say where’s the cards. Keep it coming. I would love to hear some of your personal stories. Maybe show some of you treasures. At 10:50 of the video(the scoring kings and Top Crops), I have those exact two Jordan inserts myself(BGS 9 for SK and PSA 10 for the TC).

Some of the cards were in screw top loaders though. They might be damage and ungradeable. It's not always easy to find a buyer.
