I witnessed this behavior from a rich guy that was the warden of the prison near my home and I was at his house because I went to a sleep over with my friend who happened to be his daughter. But he literally did that exact thing and as a child I was even thinking like why tf can't he go buy him a whole outfit or something like wtf is 5 dollars gonna do.. 😒 I'm 26 so that was when I was 10ish, now seeing how much 5 dollars really is & even a shitty job like McDonald's isn't enough to make a living. @@brrrrrrrrino No he just said the person taking the lie detector test gets asked the questions pre- show, and then 1x again before the show, and then 21 of those questions are used in the show. The lie detector person knows the questions, but also doesn't know the answers unless they are 100% honest. So no, the family wouldn't know unless he told them all questions + every answer he gave himself before the show. Plus Mark also said contestants could always change their answer. Even if Catia was there during the lie detector tests pre-show and heard the questions, he could've just said a lie, and then on the show say the truth for the money. Cause the contestants themselves will never be revealed the lie detector tests answers, so if he knew he lied on the test and it would come back as a lie, he could switch to the real answer on the show aswell. In most cases, its very unlikely she knew.

He died due to alcohol related issues and his parents divorced due to his father's issues. He learned his investment skills from his mom and attended business school due to his step dad's advice.
His response to the news person comparing what he said to a kid in Africa was poor, as he was directly talking about people from a capitalist country. Everyone in a country that practices capitalism has the option to dig themselves out of their situation and become financially stable. I agree with him, there are quite a few millionaires I look up to (not all are in public light) but they've gone from nothing to millionaire, it's amazing to see that that is something the average Joe can accomplish.

As I've seen, and experienced myself, how you grow up and your families financial state does not define your future. You always have the option to educate yourself and learn a new trade that can provide you income. Unlike other forms of government, if you are born poor it does not mean you will always be poor. With capitalism you always have the option to work hard and make money. I'm not saying that you can just put in little to no effort and your problems are fixed, but at least you have to option to fix your problems.

I wouldn’t agree if this was some regular old party, but being her engagement party, I think I would be upset if someone ate my cake. I mean it’s not classless, it’s just rude. Like she couldn’t ask? I’m not saying it’s the worst thing and they are throwing a big deal over it, but I’d someone did something like that at my wedding, I think I would be upset. Like this is the OC. Pretty sure they have tons of food to eat at this party.
I just wondered if it was a show cake. Then by all means take it. But not if it’s a cake for a wedding engagement or something important.
Reminds me when my sister threw me a “surprise” party, even though I hate surprises (I also had tounge and throat cancer the year before, so you know, I’m not a fan of unexpected things), but everyone else in the family let her do it, even though I don’t like them. And that the fact most of it was for her and my aunt (more my aunt) to show off their baking skills, despite I have no teeth, tongue, and missing part of my throat….pretty much making anything before the gifts about them. It honestly made me feel like I was being used. Though I don’t blame my sister, because she seemed genuinely about it. My aunt just left right before the gifts and gave me a gift card that was for anything, not even something. Just money basically. Pathetic, honestly. And that’s one of the many reasons my “aunt” isn’t my “aunt”. She’s just some wacky woman that my grandmother birthed. Honestly nobody but my sister even likes her. It’s really funny, but I wish they would just clown on her, like say rude things without it being obvious. That would be priceless.
Sorry for the personal story, just thought of a party I felt ruined like the woman on that show did, seeming understandable why she was likely mad, even if what she said sounded really stupid.
