I actually like your Ren - Nightwish comparison, although they make very different type of music. They both have touched my heart deeply, and they both can make me cry. That’s a true gift, convey emotions through your art.
Marko's Devil character is amorously pursuing Floor's Mermaid character, she is having none of it and manages to get away. An older song, from the 2nd album Oceanborn in 2000. Love the back and forth vocals. Dragonforce makes sense as the Oceanborn album leans more toward power metal. The song predates Marko's time in the band, recorded with Tarja and guest Tapio Wilska on vocals, and Sami Vanska on bass. Tapio used harsh vocals. Heavier Nightwish, try "Weak Fantasy" at Tampere 2015. Also "Wish I Had An Angel", with Floor at Wacken 2013 or with Tarja at Helsinki 2005(End of an Era). And more back and forth vocals, "Ghost River" at Wacken 2013. Heavier symphonic metal, if you're not familiar with them, try EPICA, a heavier song of theirs is "Consign To Oblivion" live at the Zenith in Paris.

Floor the Valkyrie goddess never fails to impress, (her windmills are my weakness), Marco is no longer with the band unfortunately but his replacement is OK but doesn’t sing! Emppu rarely does his thing on guitar but when he does he absolutely rocks it. It’s not my favourite track by any means but it is probably their heaviest track. For future reference, yours is an empty hope live at Wembley is good, something interesting that Floor gets up to on it!
