- I had the muffler deleted and decided i wanted more so i deleted the resonator. I highly recommend it it pops and gurgles way more and sounds very aggressive. Ill post some more sound clips later.

How's the drone? I have the same 2020 r spec and installed an axle back from takeda. Drone is ridiculous at 80 mph and throughout the gears 2600k- 3100k rpm. I'm considering adding an additional resonator to the midpipe it's so bad. 🤔
Is this a 1.6 turbo? Also, is this only a resonator and muffler delete anything else? For that sound?
Hey nice sound on your 2020 veloster turbo r spec I've the same veloster turbo r spec same year I changed out the Mufflers and exhaust tips it's super loud 👋👍🙂
Was this 2.5 inch cat back or 3 inch? Got a 2020 Hyundai Veloster r-spec as well. :)
???
@@dani_alejandro545 what’s the question mark for
Hell yeah brother! Sounds great, same setup on my 19'
I just bought a 2020 veloster r spec.. I was wondering is this ok for long term health for the engine? Does it go against warranty? and also how much is it to do this lol? Im new to this stuff traded in my truck for a veloster and loving it.....
About $100 but I’d recommend getting a borla, magnaflow, or 6th element axle back exhaust instead.
Where did u get the black diffuser from ??
I'd also like to know. Might just be plasti dipped.
What is the code number or model number of the muffler?
I had my muffler deleted but kept the resonator. Would you still recommend cutting resonator? Is it too loud now when driving? I don't want a tinny tone.
Kurtis Gray it drones but nothing crazy i would say go for it makes the car sound so much more aggressive but to the point where its not annoying
Any problems with it running too lean or rich or coded thrown from muffler delete?
Sounds great brother!
@@JeLifeCoach no code. These already run pretty rich as is but didn’t notice any worse. Definitely not running lean
@@KurtG879 thank you brother. You just told them muffler delete and they know what to do and they provide the pipe and tips?
@@JeLifeCoach yes! They’ll know. But keep the resonators.
Hey man I have the same car but space grey and I noticed a muffler rattle when it’s cold so I deleted the muffler but not resonator and it’s still rattles until it warms up. Did you ever have a rattle when the car is cold?
Did you keep the same exhaust tips from the stock muffler?
Pedro Rodriguez no I bought two 4” black tips and had them weld a y pipe. Cost me 380 but was worth it cause pre made tips are super small
They charged you 380$ To welcome tips on a pipe? Idk where you’re from brotha but they bent you over 10 ways to Sunday on that deal. Most shop will charge you 100-150$ to put a muffler delete pipe in and put tips on, with a resonator pipe looking at that 150$ range. Whoever is reading this if a shop ever charges you over 150$ they’re over pricing you, I’m friends with a exhaust shop guy and he tells me what a lot of shops do for people that don’t know what’s going on and it ain’t ethical
How much did this cost you?
How much did it cost?
Where is that diffuser/redline from? Looks dope.
bluenerve i got a roll from Autozone for about 6$
@@ripmariosuarez What is it called, can't seem to find it on Autozone's website?
P Treeze red pinstripe roll or something like that i bought it at the actual store
How much for resonater delete
Did your check engine light turn on?
Alberto Acuna no check engine light. Nothing gets affected it
Is the res straight through?
Nope
@@KurtG879 the stock res isn't straight through?
@@BunnyBUNGALO no it’s not it’s a mess. I replaced mine with a vibrant racing resonator
@@KurtG879 good to know! I'm guessing it's fairly restrictive then. I'll be deleting it now too lol 😂
