It's just an oil change. I wouldn't give up 2-3 potential sea days to go overpay at a dealership. I'd suck it up for this time to attempt the sea days and hope they don't get cancelled.
The student loan situation is insane . I called twice this week and I still can't understand what they are doing. I was told to apply for the SAVE program ,however the government has the plan locked due to the court hearings. ? Its clear nobody knows what is happening, yet they manage to tack on 471.00 a month in interest!
I feel like im on a sinking 🚢

Money moves for the week. I babysat twice for $104. I paid for mcdonalds using a gift card I got using credit card points (10% more!) and I used coupons. I got a free soda from 7 eleven because points. I returned some clothes that didn't fit and used the gift card I got back (I used a gift card to pay in the first place) to buy new clothes in preparation of going back to the office more days a week.

Maine looks fabulous and the gym membership is well worth it for mental health at the very least. Take advantage of all the options that a non structured working week gives you! Your spirit is mending and you have your glow back. One of my fave sayings when things are tough is “This too shall pass” and it always does. Stay strong x

That same thing happened to me with Mohela. I recently seen there was a lawsuit against them too. They are a hot mess
I’m an oil change at the dealership (Toyota) I got a 3 oil change package twice, it was $120. That deal is no more and it’s $80 here for a regular oil change 😮 I am also slightly over my mileage as we speak. Debating where I can get the best price at the deal ship or do it at home next time.
My car has only known the dealership for its oil changes, I don’t mind spending an extra $30 to go there. But yes, oil changes have gone up and they don’t even rotate the tires for free anymore, so that’s a trip to Costco just to do that :/
You can go more like 5k miles before an oil change. I would just reschedule it or go to jiffy lube. Save the receipts for your records.
I dont really get all those requirements, since in AZ (where I live and own a rental) I pay zero dollars. I dont have an LLC set up to do this. I'm glad you are having a better time, and doing the best to shift gears and enjoy yourself the rest of this summer!! I'm feeling like I am really trying to enjoy myself, too.
Omg those student loans are beyond a nightmare whatever way you look at them. I see someone else put in a comment about seeing a lawsuit against Mohela, could you put in a lawsuit for the stress of it all and for your settlement just get the loans cleared? 🤔😂🤣 it’d be a great idea if it worked. I always take my car to the dealership. It's the only garage that I've ever had that gets things right first time and doesn't quibble if something needs relooking at. I've even had a couple of discounts when things haven't been perfect.
I'm having a rough month. I found out the one pharmacy in my area that has ny medication consistently raised the price $40 because they are now rejecting goodrx. Sigh. Nice video.

Yes, so $900 for the sea days. About $773 or so after taxes. Then $142 reimbursed for mileage, not taxed = $915
