Definitely does that, and with the original being one of Alison's favorite party games, it's great to have a version that actually plays at two players.
I don't have room on my shelf for more games, but Blank Slate looks cool. I would like both it and Challenge. If I combine them in one box, can you tell me, are the blank word cards mixable or are they all repeats? Only thing I found in my searches was that there are fewer in Challenge. Can't tell if they're the same size, etc. I combined Codenames and Codenames Duet in one box and it worked great.
So, I ended up buying it, but the rules aren't clear on two-player games. Do you HAVE to use the "variant" which is co-op? Or do you play with one board each and compete? Or do both players use two boards and write four different words?
@@somethingelsedoesmatter I think with 2 players it’s going to be cooperative and you’re going for a high score. Basically the same as a 4 player game, you’re just playing for a high score rather than beating the other team
Nice!! Looks very cute, love the base version and it's good to see a 'variant' keep the spirit.

@@PlaytheGameHQ yeah, I was hoping it was competitive. I assume we use one board each. Playing it that way now
