The reason you have to zoom in is video compression, when playing yourself you can see the difference without zooming into anything. Unless the monitor is very far away.

Same here ..I have around 70- 80 fps on cyberpunk Ray tracing ultra 1440p when I use balanced mode...thats enough I can push more with performance (120) but thermals are higher...on balanced mode I'm still under 70 Celsius ..better for long-term usage
Two things though, the AMD one looks to be at a lower graphics setting. Also if you're getting 120FPS, you probably do not need upscaling to begin with as you'll most likely be able to get 60+ FPS native anyway.

Most people can't even afford a 7900XT or 4070 Super. Though if AMD actually put out a high-end GPU, something that could compete with 4080 and 4090, nVidia would be forced to lower those prices. Sadly AMD's RT performance is so abysmal that there is no point in even considering AMD if you go above a mid-range GPU.

In this comparison video, it doesn't show any of those things, and it's close to being deceived to comparing only fps on a slow screen.

Yeah, AMD FSR is lacking but it doesn't require the AI cores with older cards. We need AMD to improve it though... Besides, no one talks about how AMD destroyed Nvidia with Image Sharpening to the point they removed it. It's the setting I'll never turn off in native res.

Keep in mind you pay a significant premium for DLSS and FSR works in almost any game on most GPU’s
Bottom image looks more natural, and uniform. Top one looks gaudy.

It's funny how these technologies aim to improve frame rates while still maintaining visual realism. DLSS seems better than FSR but people still need more FPS speed. For me, a flashy knife like that reduces authenticity and causes eye pain when fighting
from what I saw I have two things to say
First:if you want to play games like warzone pubg or apex or fortnite choose AMD
Second:if you want to play games like genshin or God of war or MC choose Nvidia

Sometimes FSR or DLSS will have better detail up close or far and sometimes FSR or DLSS will have less detail up close or far, it just depends on the game
Here's another thing: you can't flex with fancy GPUs either. Your pricey motherboard may be PCI-5, but both company GPUs have PCI-4 printed circuit boards.

I’m glad everyone is agreeing on this, DLSS is for people who have thousands for a build. The fact I get 200+ frames in high settings using FSR3 is amazing considering the build cost less than 800 dollars

Well Nvidia started using color enhancement when Kepler got color compression. Colors are brighter with Nvidia cards vs Radeon's raw unfiltered fidelity

I don't understand these nvidia fan boys that keep arguing that dlss is better than fsr. By using the same amount of money to buy an amd gpu rather than an nvidia gpu you'll be able to play the game at native resolution at the desired fps and you won't need to downgrade the resolution with dlss to make the game blurry.

I don’t know personally never did like how DLSS looked. I can notice a drop in clarity once things start moving also the artifact of around the edges. To me at least FSR doesn’t have the same issue.
I like AMD but acting like Nvidia isn’t giving borderline identical performance alongside greater visual clarity and effects is crazy.
They are extremely expensive for sure, but that little bit of vibrancy or detail goes a long way
Fsr doesn't handle small details as well as DLSS, but FSR is much better at keeping the image sharp in comparison tho its shimmering is an issue.
Apart from the knife, the character is a lot more jagged from the edges.
Am i the only one who just wants to play games at native resolution? Man good thing that AAA games sucked for at least a decade now, so i guess i wont have to worry about that anytime soon. Back to ma good ol indie games.

On FSR you can very clearly see the blurry grass and on dlss its crisp and clear. also looking down the path objects further away is also blurry and on dlss its also crisp AMD is budget power house cards but the NVidia has the raster and it has the best graphics and when you add raytracing Nvidia just looks light years ahead of AMD.
Should add native resolution to the comparison too either by itself at the start of the short or side by side.
DLSS is meant for high end cards, so they can sacrifice performance for quality. Both are great in their own right.
DLSS is for low end gpus so they can run newer titles with decent fps

If you drop the DLSS from quality to Balanced then it will still look better and perform better then FSR quality.
M so happy i got a 7800xt Nitro + i can just disable upscaling all together and still have decent fps.

Comparing them side by side means nothing without the native for reference IMO. No way to see whats been changed from the original intended look that the game had.

Yeah, AMD FSR is lacking but it doesn't require the AI cores with older cards. We need AMD to improve it though...
Besides, no one talks about how AMD destroyed Nvidia with Image Sharpening to the point they removed it. It's the setting I'll never turn off in native res.

But Intel and Nvidia have superior upscaling.

For all those who say FSR is backwards compatible, just ask yourselves that for how long your cards will be capable to play the VRAM demanding AAA games.
Its sad that people dont realize you can also use ultra dlss and get like 30 to 40fps boosts even over this. Its insane whrre dlss is at now on these 40 series cards. You can also use newer dlss settings that reduce frames yet look even more detailed and better then native. People hate hearing that but its true lol
