Great video! Sent payment for the IT Transitioning info😊
Great video! I am currently in school for HIT, can you provide information on how to get a job in IT now?
Hey , thanks for your informations, I’m also in the Army and think or probably about to start class through the Nursing road but still doubtful. I only have few class left before I get my associate in computer Science so what do suggest ? Why the military didn’t pay for your whole school $?
OH WOOW..IM SO MOTIVATED GIRL.THIS HAS BEEN IN MY MIND..IM A NURSE IN NIGERIA AND HAD ALWAYS WANT TO GO INTO TECH..HOW WILL I DIVE IN...SO EXCITED TO COME ACROSS YOUR VIEDEO😍😍
You got this!!! And I have a google doc on transition into IT if you are interested. I will definitely ask you research what IT sector in Nigeria is most predominant. Thanks for watching ☺️
@@dlifeofarc1272 I'm interested in the google doc .how can I get it?
Thanks alot..loads of love
In your opinion would you transition by doing a IT certificate like the one google offers and then transition to googles cybersecurity certificate or does purchasing your Google doc direct on that? I'm getting overwhelmed with all the different videos on paths and I dont want to get discouraged and do nothing. Hope my question makes sense. 🙂
Hello! I truly appreciate all of your IT videos. Very helpful. Currently working as an ER Travel Nurse looking to pivot my career into IT. Undecided on whether I would like to go into cybersecurity information assurance or healthcare tech/ HIPAA. But I know forsure I will be leaving bedside as soon as I can haha! I just filled out your link to accessing your IT google document and money sent via Zelle. I look forward to your email w/ the document attached. Thanks!
You are rocking with this hairstyle ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much 😀🤍
Hi! is your google doc still available?
Hi, do you go in depth with clearance in your Transition to IT document?
Hi yes I did. The google doc have voice memos where I break down the different level of clearances, their pros/cons and how to get them if you want to.
Hey, did you do a bootcamp or get a cert and which cert did you receive ?
Yes I did a boot camp and the first very I got was my sec+ cert
What is your thoughts on nurse/health informatics? Why didn't you go that route?
I never went the route of health informatics because 1. the salary cap is lower than what I would like in terms of the lifestyle I want to live 2. Their roles are limited, compared to the ones available in contracting in the cybersecurity world 3. Cybersecurity has a higher chance of offering remote positions that health informatics.
Those are some of the reasons I decided to fully dive into another career instead of sticking to nursing.
I was thinking of going into informatics as that’s what I have my degree in but I’m also concerned abt the salary
@@dlifeofarc1272 exactly ppl in america need to aim for AT least $65,000 per capita income (ex. houston texas combined salary) or $85,000 (ex. washington dc/east coast) to stay afloat in america and be able to pivot in life. The thing that kills most americans is UNDEREARNING.
for what it is worth. I have been a RN for 28 yrs, my brother more like 35 yrs. He has worked for EPIC as a remote clinical consultant. He now work remote and loves it. My dad says he "makes great money" but I dont know what they pay. I am starting a new remote Utilization Review staff job at $115k plus bonuses. I am the exception. I was offered many jobs around $36 an hour while looking for this one. Good jobs are always competitive
Really enjoy your videos. Do you still have your Google Doc available? and does it contain Bootcamp information? I am transitioning to I.T and looking to send a request for the doc if it still is.
Hi! Yes it is still available and it contains the bootcamp information including how to job search, certs and Secuirty clearances.
@@dlifeofarc1272 Perfect! I just sent you a Zelle payment for the document. Thanks
I will be reaching out soon as well.
I'm a nurse but hesitant to go the NP route because frankly it's more stressful. I've been looking at cybersecurity and ethical hacking but honestly it looks boooooring. At least it's less stressful. Do you have info for nurses transitioning to cybersecurity?
NP has been watered down with "diploma mill" programs. I have been a RN for 28 yrs. Its exhausting even when you get "great jobs"
Hey, I'm currently in Bootcamp for software engineering, I'm also an RN transitioning to IT. I want to know if you were able to keep your nursing license current, also do you have any PRN nursing job?
Hey! Yes I definitely keep my license active. I do nursing contracts with a contracting company on weekends/evenings/holidays- times that I don’t have my IT job. I think it’s so important to keep your license active regardless of transitioning. 😊
@@dlifeofarc1272 Hi, your videos on working in cybersecurity are so informative. A few weeks ago I filled out your zoho form to purchase your guide to getting into cybersecurity using cash app but I haven’t received a response yet. Is there something that I might be missing?
@@dlifeofarc1272 Thanks so much.
Hey girl! Was wondering which company does these nursing contracts for weekends/holidays/etc. thanks!
Hi! I was wondering if you could share the duration of your boot camp program...
I'm torn between getting a 3rd bachelor's in IT or getting my MBA...
I have a 4-month-old and I can leave him to return to my nursing job when he won't even take his bottle 🤦♀️
Hey is your Google doc still available?
Yes it still is! ☺️
If both companies require 9-5 hours how do you work around that?
Some IT companies allow evening/night shifts, depending on your jobs title and tasks
Do you still do nursing on the side? Prn/ travel assignments?
Yes I do nursing contracts instead - community nursing.
@@dlifeofarc1272what qualifies as community nursing ?
Thank you for this. I just graduated with my bachelors degree in psychology and I no longer have interest in that field.
Congratulations on graduating!! 🎉🥳 And definitely find something that will at least make you happy or allow you to do things in life that make you happy.
So common with psychology degrees. But at the same time when i hear someone saying they're getting a psych degree, I know they really haven't chosen a career.
