I went from being an IT support specialist to delivering packages, and I’ve honestly never been happier. No angry customers screaming at me. No more verbal abuse. No more micromanagement from higher ups. No more scheduled bathroom breaks. As a delivery driver, I get absolute freedom on the road. Take breaks when I want. Don’t have to answer to anyone. Just have to make sure I get all my packages delivered by the end of the day. Get to enjoy seeing different parts of the city. Sure, maybe the pay isn’t as great. But I’m happy and never stressed about work anymore. Life is good!

Currently in LPN school and I think I’ve already decided after I get my rn I’m looking for jobs outside of the hospital. I can already see now I’m going to have to advance beyond rnbsn to have the career I want

Therapy is stressful too. The whole medical field needs to change. I worked 5 jobs at the same time as a COTA because I couldn't get and the toxicity and the using my body as a machine was awful

I’m switching to healthcare from 10 years in cybersecurity. Tech pays a lot but comes with the lack of job security in the long run. Nursing is not easy and becomes tiresome but you’ll always have that job security. Tech you never know who or what will be outsourced if you’re planning on creating a family or a decent lifestyle in the long run.

I am doing pre reqs courses. I’ve come to realize that I am not passionate about It. It’s just my plan B, my true passion is sports like Athletic training or exercise science. However, those majors don’t make any money. Jobs are also very limited.
