Rye Railway Station

Shot on a blustery, showery day. The station has double track but the line is single. The station is used to pass trains going to opposite way. Considering their age the buildings are in pretty good nick. I particularly liked the signal box. Rye is a pretty little ancient town in East Sussex.

Used to be my back garden when we lived in Ashford! Rye is luvverly! There used to be a mechanical music museum there near the station?

It's a helluva round trip to get to Rye from my home but it's worth the effort. And the station is kinda quaint!
