As a child from London I would go to Frenchman's Beach Caravan Site, near Rye, it was our holiday, I loved the martello tower, and walking in the morning to the beach in the hot sunshine
Rye is such a beautiful town love it it has enrichment of living by the sea, beautiful houses, lovely church, beautiful Sussex walks, an historical town, lovely shops, mouth watering food in the restaurants and hotels, tea rooms .Beautiful Sussex experience for anyone who wishes to visit well worth visiting. This beautiful Sussex town adds more flavour as it was the film location for the 1985/6 superb television production of Mapp and Lucia although the series changed the name from Rye to Tilling. This video is very well put together makes Rye very inviting which it is. thank you for the super memories. 😃
Rye is a lovely town, been there many a time in the past.thanks for the reminder. Talking of the best fish and chips. Many years ago we stayed in a town in Dorset called Wareham. We had the best fish and chips there. We sat on the riverbank by our hotel, ‘The Old Granary’ it would be lovely if you paid a visit and gave a review. Thanks again
