Harambe Kardashian I wish mine was easier too. All of my DS were Infantry, I had one Ranger that was even harder, and one if the DS from a different platoon got forced to go there from Italy as a jump master so he was always pissed off

This was literally my company!! Literally my day 0
I went through in 87..Ft Bliss Tx..( served 22 years)...When I went through, OMG there were no limits on what a drill SGT could do...Literally curse you out..talk about your mother...grab you by your shirt collar. The first night ( bedtime )at basic all I heard were men sniffing and crying. I can remember getting smoked in mopp 4 for one hour. Road marches in boots. No calling home until your 4th week. I can go on forever!!!!! But I’m glad I served.. 22 years ( Honorably Retired).
People who serve 22 years and earn the rank of sgt major (which takes about 20 years) don’t usually end their sentence with a “glad I served.” Or use an OMG when speaking.

You don’t even need cash because on day 1 you get issued your eagle cash card.

I was a hold over in this company. (I've graduated now, thank god). They barely got dropped, barely got inspected, barely got yelled at. Was kinda pissed, it was pre school compared to my original company, and the people there definitely knew they had it easy.

As a 17 year old I remember my pick up. I was surprised by it a bit but all in all it wasn't so bad. I say that, it was the hardest stuff I ever did up to that point. Now I wish life was as easy as it was back then lol. That was 14 years ago!!!!!

It’s all mental. It’s too easy. Without the yelling it’s just a bunch of kids carrying a 40 pound bag while shuffling their feet from the bus to the barracks.
