When I tell people about Mass Effect, and want to show them a trailer, even in 2018 now, I show them this. It is the best trailer to show for this god-tier series. It's so fucking well made.
Love the Trilogy.... CAUTION SPOILERS BELOW! ME1 was grand exploring 'The Milky Way' getting to know the new alien species, All the new decisions you had to make who lives who dies the emotion of choosing between Ash and Kaiden at Virmire was tough, Both are great characters being a male Shepard 'Save Ash!' for obvious reasons on the contrary Kaiden has a great personality. However Wrex? No sweat there he had to live the badass 'MF' Now then for Saran glad i actually used to charm to make him realize he was indoctrinated so that he ended it himself until the last battle. As for ME2 that had a dark edge feel to it Aria the badass hot asari, Omega filled with Blue Suns, Eclipse and Blood Pack gangs, Not to mention Garrus being more badass then ever and Legion Tali's best friend :D. The work with Cerburus finally gave us a chance to see how they really operate as we did not see much of them in ME1 apart from their experiments during the UNC missions Hackett gave us. We got to see the enemy of The Alliance first hand and worked or used their leader 'The Illusive Man' The game itself made the player work to save the team members with loyalty missions and collecting resources which tested the players patience ready to finally take down the collectors. The final one ME3 was mind blowing i loved the intro, Shepard under house arrest, The Reapers attacking earth and the council finally believing Shepard, The game was intense so many fleets and assets for the last battle on earth, So many final decisions and epic cutscenes before taking back earth. The final battle has got to be the best ever in my own opinion. Not only is it because i am from UK and the final battle takes foot in London but it allows you to reflect upon all of the decisions you made in all three games and remember the good times and the bad times whether being renegade or paragon was the best idea and the heat of the the cutscene before the final choice has to be the most emotional, Shepard and Anderson. All in All the best Trilogy i know of! :)
Amazing trailer. Bought the trilogy some time ago, currently in the middle of playing the second game, 26 hours in. After watching this, I think I'll go and play it some more.
I agree, this is a really well edited trailer, I was surprised at how crappy the official trailers deliver context for the story, your trailer summarizes ME 1 and the main plight of the entire trilogy while spoiling almost nothing. Very well done sir. =)

Too many times, I find myself loving the origin of a trilogy but with Mass Effect, so many put the second as their favorite (with good reason). Everything in the second was so good, but the third is still my favorite because of the moments of tension and emotion felt in area's of it. I just don't pay to much to the last 8 minutes lol.

This trailer is literally so freaking good...much better than the official ones. Only one problem with it: no Jack, Wrex, EDI, Javik or Mordin. You cover most of the other important characters at least once (Liara, Garrus, Tali, Kaidan -- Miranda and Thane even get lines), but I don't think those five characters got one millisecond of screentime. Literally fantastic though!

It really mirrors the epicnes of the mass effect universe and by the great editing and music choice adds the feeling that there is even more to explore, enjoy and experience. If there was a Trilogy Cut for in this style for mass effect I am sure it could actually be the next best thing to star wars. Compliments on such a great piece of cinema and your obvious talent for editing, this is better than most of what comes out of hollywood at this time. Also does someone know the song starting at 1:46 ? It matches the scene so perfectly and creates such a great atmosphere.
I just watched Bioware's official trilogy trailer and frankly, I prefer yours. Your trailer has a depth to it that the official one lacks. This trailer portrays the depth of conflict and sacrifice that Mass Effect is really about, Bioware's trailer felt like they were selling some action flick.

Even after the release of the Legendary Edition, this still remains as one of the best made trailers I've seen for Mass Effect.
