      I learned this technique from one of his pervious videos and its pretty awesome to play. I could be wrong, but it's actually not a gallop on the feet, becasue your playing the high hat every other note. So your feet are playing 16th notes but bass drum sounds like gallop triplets! This guys is awesome, cheers everyone

      Granted, I can't do what this guy can do. But I've been listening to and watching the very best drummers in the world for four decades. When he can break away from 4/4 time signatures, this will help him get to the next level. That said, he [is] stretching himself and I think that his continuing to use multiple pedals will also help him more and more. His limited drum sets make all of his stuff sound the same . . . it's getting old fast. @@abandonedbrain

    Jorge, I’m glad you exist and here’s my small bump to your algorithms! I’ll copy to a bunch of your videos! My reasons?
    1. I’m not a drummer and haven’t listened to much music for years (I’m into books right now). I’ve never enjoyed watching drummers do their thing outside of a song. Despite that, you have grabbed my attention and I’ve dipped into music styles I don’t even enjoy and discovered artists that are great! Your mesmerizing drumming and the pure entertainment raised them to something worth watching again and again! Wow! I’ve listened to more music in the past couple months than in the last decade! Thank you!
    2. You are funny, authentic, intelligent, incredibly disciplined and skilled. (You are also some real eye candy, but that wouldn’t matter if it wasn’t for your inner qualities!) What impresses me is that you want to pass on your life lessons, knowledge and skills to others and inspire them on their own journey. That’s big! Huge!!! We need more people in the world like that!
    3. As a side note, in your Million Views video you mentioned that something in your character drives you to do correctly whatever you’re doing. That can be a blessing or a curse, but when I listened to your Mike Portnoy video and your story about your girl related reasons for learning his song, I just started laughing. Your drive to do things ‘correctly’ could be a blessing for your partners!
    4. Thank you for enriching my life and I wish you fulfillment, success and happiness as you ‘lay pipe’ in your own life’s journey! Life is short, go for it! Nancy from the States!

    Wow, that was impressive. I used to play drums/percussion, but haven’t been able to spend the time practicing so don’t consider myself a drummer anymore. I am, however, a live sound engineer and have been doing so for over 25 years now. I have enjoyed watching your different kit configurations and mic placements for your covers and other videos (all very well done, btw) and it has been interesting to see your progression over about a year or so now since I began passively following along your uploads. You are definitely a world class drummer and I really hope you don’t give up on your God given drive for perfection. I think perfection is in unachievable goal as there is no such thing. You can get very very close, but nobody ever reaches 100%. The accomplishment comes when you realize nobody is perfectly perfect and in doing so you discover your zen moment of peace and harmony which allows you to transcend into a higher level. You are definitely at a very very high level, my dude. Keep smashing the kit and I will continue to be pleasantly humbled every time I watch your new content! Thank you for sharing with us mere mortals.

But I would gladly and eagerly listen to literally ANY cover Estepario put out honoring Bonham's work. • @Guglioz01
      @Guglioz01 8 месяцев назад

      Do you even know what dynamic is? I think he is the complete opposite, flat. You will be always right when saying he is a beast, technically speaking,but not dinamically. If you want to have a great comparison, take for example a video of a solo by Matt Garstka, drummer from Animal as Leaders

    • @vinniepearl
      @vinniepearl 8 месяцев назад +3

      @primeryai tomas Lang, Matt gartska, virgil donati. The list is huge. All of them are great players, but to declare one drummer alone the "best" or "most dynamic" is just silly. There isn't just one drummer who is "the best" because drumming and art is so vast. These "the best" comments are probably made by teenagers or young adults who are still stuck in that mindset.

    Mira que soy habladora pero consigues dejarme sin palabras cada vez que veo un video tuyo. Brutal lo que haces tio, tanto a nivel de comprensión musical como de ejecución y la gran creatividad que aplicas en cada una de las canciones que tocas. Aunque sé que crees que el talento no existe, para mí tienes un enorme talento, sumado a tu gran capacidad, al esfuerzo y al sacrificio de practicar y darlo todo. ❤️‍🔥

      Es que tiene razón, no hay cosa como talento, yo que toco batería puedo decir que el instrumento se basa en la simple repetición y memoria muscular. Mientras tengas disciplina llegas a niveles insospechados, el la tiene.

      @@miguelvasquez9252eso no es cierto, en cualquier actividad hay gente que necesita más esfuerzo o menos, o de otra manera, con el mismo esfuerzo unos llegan más lejos que otros... y puedes tener mucha facilidad para unas cosas y ser un torpe para otras.

    I look at this guy play and it seems he is so comfortable with his set up and his style to the point where he is not even looking at the drums half of the time. he is literally in his own world where it is just him and the drums with the music. this is peak musicality in my opinion.

    Siempre me ha parecido interesante esta canción desde el punto de vista rítmico y musical. Es una canción subestimada sólo porque los amantes del ROCK "puro" la consideran demasiado POP. Sin darse cuenta de que se encuentran ante una pieza variada, dinámica y creativa. Pienso que tu cover he exaltado su versatilidad. Bien hecho Estepi :)
