I'll admit, the design of the G87 M2 has started to grow on me. It kind of gives me go-kart vibes from the side even though it obviously weighs nothing like a go-kart. And for a second, I thought the wheels on this M2 were aftermarket, especially in the thumbnail. But now I see that they're actually the factory bronze-colored wheels. But if I were to buy a new M2, it'd have to be in Java Green Metallic, which is a new color for 2025 and it looks so sick.
m2 manual owner here. lots of folk were saying it was rubbery, im not sure how thats different from most manuals ive driven except gated manuals. Some people say its not fun, i disagree but that's a personal choice. wouldn't shit on anyone for getting an auto but a lot of the manual criticisms were basic and can be applied to a lot of current manuals. Even auto rev matching is common on other manuals. I figured most people complaining about it dont drive manual themselves which is okay.
It is a nice car but 76k for an already old pre-lci model? Also, Americans do not mention the tax you must pay on top of the asking price depending on the state they buy it from.
Long time BMW owner, I like the manual, CF roof, proportions look good....not a deal breaker but that bottom of the front/bottom bumper needs to be body colored. how much does this thing weigh again?... at 76K + stealership cost, TT...that's used vette/used M3/4 $$.
Looks like a 2008 Dodge Charger. If I didn't have my Focus RS I'd have a white 2018 M2. Much more beautiful and sleaker looking without those bulbous head and tail lights.
Considering tradition of sporty elegance the BMW used to be benchmark of this heritage derailed design still looks like cheap aftermatket bodykit made out of fiberglass in Poland...🙄
I have never been a fan of white cars, even less with this one because it highlights all the ugly design. In dark blue i think it would be almost acceptable.
@@herbiehusker1889 you see it as a waste of money, I see it as a bargain. You just walk in the dealership and say “I’ll give you $70,000 for that car and that’s all it’s going to be.” I just wish there’s was more racetracks. we only have one drag strip around here.
@Big.W. you act like $70k is walking around money. I don't think I've spent $70k in vehicles in total in my lifetime and I've been driving for 27 years. But then again I keep cars forever and only buy a new one when the old one isn't worth repairing.
@ you’re supposed to sell your car every 6-10 months depending on how many miles you drive. Your method is very expensive. You want to chew through the value of all those cars and pour buckets of cash into maintenance and repairs. I have a coworker that has 3 old Subarus. I keep telling her do like me and get one Camry hybrid and sell it every six months and it will change your life. That’s why I got a fully loaded blackout XLE awd otd for $37,000 instead of $41,000 msrp because I didn’t want the 2024 Camry

Love the spec too👌

I think the automatic version isn't a dual clutch...
It’s hard to beat the CT4 BW in comparison for the price.

The automatic version isn't a DCT, it's a torque convertor automatic
I’m with you regarding preferring the automatic. The M2 is still a beautiful car BUT I’d rather pay a bit more for something like an M3 Comp.
The automatic is not a dual-clutch transmission
yeah they ditched DCT a while back.
Amazing review thank you 🙏

Is it possible to spec those wheels from the factory? Not seeing it on the configurator.
The m2 is the m3...the m3 is the m5...the m5 is the m7...
So tix s58 g87 made in MEXICO compare s58 g80.g82 made in germany? Still prefer M car made by german..
The wheels in black and we are talking.
It ain't 2015 bro. This car will be timeless, except the screens
@XDG_97X What does this have to do with the fact that I would prefer black colored wheels on this trim? Haha
black wheels are a travesty
@@Kostas_Dikefalaios Me too haha. Some people just have to follow whatever the latest trend is which was black wheels in 2015 and bronze wheels now.
That’s M4 money damn
They need to fix the hideous looking squared front and rear bumpers.
$76000?!?!??! for a M2?!??!?! that's m4 money!!
Mexican assembled and they still charge $70,000!

nice
Brilliant spec, no dogshit blackout wheels either !

Every single G series Beamer is at least 600lbs overweight.

Odd driving position.
That is just another modern BMW design disaster.
$76k! What a waste of money.
Learn to negotiate! You’ve definitely wasted a lot of money before
@Big.W. I've wasted money before, but like I've overpaid for something by a couple hundred, not tens of thousands.

Naw, Purple, Green, or GTFO.
It simply does not look good. Horrible lines. Looks like it came out of Minecraft
