making vintage inspired halloween decorations

Make old timey/ vintage inspired halloween decorations with me! I'm heavily inspired by spooky old cartoons as well as Over The Garden Wall. These are fairly simple projects that will add that adorably spooky factor to ya home this halloween! This video has a lot of cute pumpkins, so if you have an aversion to those then this is not the video for you.

I gotsta ask: what's it like living in a hemisphere where you get to celebrate the season that it actually is...? Down here in poor little NZ, it's spring, and there's flowers and birdies and it's getting nice and warm (except the other day when we had a freak snow storm, like WTF??), but people insist on putting up Halloween decorations. I have taken to calling this Seasonal Dissonance and I rather wish I knew how to explain this to people in a way that they could understand.
Also, I love that hat. I _will_ create one!

Looks so great - just a tip to be careful when watering down acrylics because it weakens the bonds in the paint and after a while the paint can flake/chip off!

My grandma had a lot of old vintage Halloween decorations, and she had a lot of candles shaped like pumpkins for some reason. (we still have them, before she died she wanted to get rid of them but we never did)
