@@SalindaNichols totally get that. When I wrote my Hallowe'en decorating books I did a craft on covering the plastic pumpkin buckets with paper mache (used the brown paper towels for that vintage look) inside and out. Then painted them. I keep the cat head one out all year and that's been 20 years ago now!!
Thank you for your kind words! It's been a while since this video, but I've had my Papier mache creations on display to this day ❤️✨ planning on making some more come this October!
They look wonderful the perfect vintage Halloween look to bring the spooky goodness to your space. I was impressed with how you were able to keep our outfits so clean during this DIY video we always get so messy when we do ours. Thanks for posting
Wow I just watched ur videos and when I looked down I was expecting you to have At least 500,000 subs, yr videos are so well edited and put together I can’t believe this is a new channel! You are destined to greatness and I’m glad to be here for the ride !!
New subscriber! I love vintage Halloween and living in California, the last few years it’s been easy finding reproductions in stores. I love the ones you made!!! The scaredy cat is amazing! I might have to attempt it too…thank you for sharing! ❤️
Those are Wonderful!!! Well Done!! ~I've seen someone use plaster bandages instead of the newspaper... perhaps you'll want to experiment with them? Love your work!
I love vintage Halloween and Christmas styles and I enjoyed your amazing video every minute! 4:29 The sunlight and very bright lights also made me sneeze and when I was young I used to say that I was allergic to the sun. LOL Greetings from Sonora, Mexico!
Very entertaining! The projects are great and that lantern is to Die For! I’m getting out the paper and exacto knife right now. The cute witch drawing is Top Drawer!! ps-Thanks for the memories, Kiddo! 🥰 ❤️ AB
Aww this was so much fun! Loved it! Do you plan on making any vintage halloween decorations this year? P.S. Your kitty is so cute! I'm living vicariously through you as I am allergic to cats 😭
Thank you! The candelabra is thrifted, the cat with a witch hat is from a random craft store from a few years ago, and the star shaped tealight holder is from Michael's 🧡
I used papier maché for a cosplay I did years ago, and instead of flour, I used paper glue. It dried pretty quickly and was quite sturdy. Maybe a good alternative? Great video!!
My granddaughter and I had a grand time following along. Thanks!
Nicely done...
...your homemade one will mean more in time...
Thank you! I must admit I've had my Papier mache creations on display since last year 😆

Glue seems to be the general consensus! I thought I only had flour on hand, but unbeknownst to me I had PVA glue in the house too!
@@SalindaNichols It helps to boil the flour paste... ;-)
