- Today is the last day of my Alaska Cruise with my mom on our Cruise to Alaska. Our show was unfortunately cancelled. It’s my moms first time visiting Canada and she makes the weirdest decision for our last dinner on board Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the seas.

Watching you and your mom's adventures in Alaska made me smile. You two reminded me of my mom and I when we went on our first cruise together (she had been on two previous cruises) I was amazed with everything. Those memories you made with your mom will last a lifetime. I was fortunate and blessed and thankful my mom and I were on three cruises together before she passed....those memories still make me smile.
Sorry I missed this one when you put it out but was hospitalized again for Covid ...😔 . Victoria is absolutely beautiful . The Tim Horton donut holes looked sooo 😋 yummy . That would be a place I would look up . Good cup of coffee and a good donut . Like your mom i love the buffet style also .

Yep..gotta love my Timmies! A lot cheaper than Starbucks too! BTW it rains a lot in Vancouver/Victoria so it's not for me. Even here in mid Ontario 3 BR homes are 800,000 plus!

Victoria is my favorite place. My husband and I would love to retire there... but you heard the prices. The thing about the island, though, is it costs a FORTUNE to leave. Want to pop over to Vancouver? It'll cost you a couple hundred bucks. I truly love it, but once you're there, plan to stay there. Oh, and don't be fooled by the weather. YES, the sunny days are AMAZING. But most days are not sunny. There's a ton of rain.

My husband had is looking for Tim Hortons he made it sound all grandioso like an off the chain restaurant. Lord we thought there was another part. So we left. Butttt low and behold it's just a quick sandwich and donut place. We weren't thrilled. JS I agree with your mom.
I’m looking at a cruise that is only in Victoria from 7:00 pm to midnight. Hardly worth getting off the ship

Oh 🇨🇦BC is a beautiful province but sorry for authentic amazing Poutine you must come to Quebec. Montreal is an international city and it’s almost like being in Europe❤️ Also cost of living is much more reasonable in Quebec and we too have plenty of mountains and all 4 beautiful seasons😉. Love the Timmy’s 😂
