This is easily our favorite day in Alaska, we really hope you enjoy it! If you have gone or want to what is it that you want to do most?
Was there in 2018 went on a sled dog across Alaska the highlight of my holiday! Unfortunately didn’t see northern lights! But oneday I might🤞
My wife and I will be on the Quantum in June 2025 for an Alaskan cruise. Ketchikan, Juneau, Sitka, Endicott Arms and Dawes Glacier, and Victoria BC. Looking forward to our first Alaskan inland passage cruise. Just got off the Odyssey of the Seas Southern Caribbean to Aruba and Curaçao. Love the Quantum class ships. Thank you for your review!

Try NCL they have single rooms, so a lot cheaper that way. Or look for a friend to go with you
Just went to Alaska last month on another cruise line. It was my first cruise ever. Had a memorable time! Alaska is so beautiful. Our stop in Juneau wasn't that long. Did the Glacier & Nugget Falls excursion that also included a Salmon Bake for lunch. Wish we had a chance to try the king crab legs at Tracy's! Finally had King crab in Ketchikan, but it was very pricey!!! I cannot wait to cruise Alaska again! Might have to go solo, unless I find another friend who can go with me.

The Mendenhall Glacier was truley amazing, its a must go to and see!
Our seaplane flight to the glaciers, there are more in the Juneau area, was cancelled because of the wheather. we even had mor fog as in your video!
We would like to come back, but as we are from Germany, this cruise is rather expensive.....
Seems that float planes don't have the best of luck to get in the air, but man it would be amazing to do. Such a great trip, totally understand it being difficult to get to from there. So many amazing places in the world to get to - Love Traveling so much - thank you for watching and sharing

I can honestly say that I never get hungry or envy of watching people eat local food... untill now, OMG that crab and SHRIMP!!!! holy hannah!

I worked in Juneau for 9 months. As you were waiting to board the tour bus, an Alaska Airlines flight can be heard overhead. Aircraft operating into Juneau have special navigation equipment and pilots have extra training.
Absolutely a gorgeous place to work, fantastic food, and occasional sunshine-those days you treasure.

After seeing this video we had to look up the population of Juneau to figure out why the Alaskan Brewing tap house doesn’t stay open year round. Shockingly small town! Alaskan Brewing makes GREAT beer.
But those crab legs… 🤤
Right?!?!? Actually we heard about a lot of people that leave for the winter so I bet it is like a ghost town in most of these spots when the weather turns bad.
I was doing a land trip to Juneau. That’s when I found out the whole town shuts down anytime there’s no ship in port. Literally every shop and restaurant is closed.
Of travel content - I only watch vegas vlogs... but yours is the only one where I will watch wherever you go. always fun.

I’ve been three times and am booked again in September 2023. You have to do a helicopter to the glaciers and walk on them, it was majestic. Alaska is my favorite.
Oh that would be great! Our weather just didn't cooperate for some activities, maybe next time :)

Love the video. I will be going there in August (Carnival Miracle). Was looking for something to do and you convinced me to go to the National Park. Looks awesome and a place to take great pics. Really enjoyed your descriptions. BTW, I agree with you about the show. Not my cup of tea although I do like musicals but this seemed a bit weird.

Nicely done, very natural. Too bad you didn’t have the best weather or time to visit many other interesting places. Imagine the sunny day, blue bergs floating on the glistening Mendenhall lake. My love affair with SE Alaska started with a cruse and 14 solo non cruise vacations followed. My favorite port is Icy Strait Point. Unforgettable memories.

First..The moment I saw the whales, I said Majestic..So cool you both felt the same way. This video is by far one of the best. Juneau is absolutely stunning with beauty and sorry your socks were wet! I was in Juneau about twenty five year’s ago. Did you to try the Glacier Gardens Rainforest Adventure.it’s a very beautiful place to go and visit while you’re on vacation.the table looked fresh and delicious.who long was the trip,good prices.
We did not but may have to give it a try if we ever make it back!

For us with the weather being as bad as it was, we did not get to see the land for a large portion of our cruise. It was almost like a fog bubble that surrounded us for most of the cruise

They are a brand called Pearl Izumi, I’ve had them for years! Wore them mostly for cold weather running but they worked out great for Alaska!!

May I ask what date you cruised and which deck your cabin was on. I have a hold on a May date on deck 8. I’m trying to avoid the lifeboats and was curious about average weather in off season like May. Nice video…. :)

Josh and Rachel-do you have a clear preference of cruise line or ship for an Alaskan cruise???
We have only done Royal Caribbean over the past 3 years so hard to be definitive about it but we enjoyed it. If we were to do it again we were looking at Celebrity to get more ports in it - out of Vancouver.
