A nine part electric arrangement on a single acoustic guitar. What sorcery is this!? Most excellent job. I'm grabbing my acoustic right now to thoroughly frustrate myself trying to attempt something even remotely close.
I found a work around that makes this song more reasonable for us lesser fingerstylists to play and still sound like guidos version. Same tuning. Low E to C, and A to G. The trio of bass notes he plays starts with closing the 8th fret on the D string, then open A string, then open G string.. Then repeating again and again while overlaying the melody. Instead, I my trio of bass notes starts on open G, then open D, then open A. Due to octaves, this mimmicks very closely what he is doing with his base line but leaves me all of my left fingers to close the notes in the melody. It is far less confusing to maintain the trio of bass notes this way and gives me an easier chance at overlaying the melody. Try it. Instead of strings 4-5-3, 4-5-3 with the D string closed at the 8th fret, you are doing a much simpler 3-4-5, 3-4-5 pattern open. It is the only chance I have that learning this complex Arrangement without pulling my hair out and getting quicker results that sounds nearly identical to what he is doing. These Arrangements are just far too complex for us above average players to pick up on and play well. Being 60 with Alzheimers and dementia creeping in doesn't make this task less aggravating for sure! But I can still make it sound good if I cheat on the trio of base notes as I have described above. Good luck with my advice and thank you Guido for your crazy sick arrangement

Your timing is perfect , your arrangement gives this performance a sound that sounds like it's practically all the tracks in the song. I don’t think Guido is human because playing like this is not humanly possible. And that is why he doesn’t show his face. There I said it!!! 😁 I love his interpretation with this piece. The repeating pattern, starting in the very beginning adds so much to this music and makes it so much better as it gives (what I call) “edginess” (suspense) and it also fills the gaps and creates flowing continuity. Absolutely very “tasteful” and genius of him! For the repeating pattern, other than the bass line, he plays the 3rd (G) string and the 2nd (B) string “open”, but the second (B) string is dropped (tuned) down to A#.
I’ve been playing guitar for over 30 years, and have quite a collection of some very fine guitars. After watching this I think it’s time to sell them all and just quit! This is amazing!!!!

To understand and grasp the artistry here, as well as, the mechanics, the discipline and practice that goes into this master work played here, well I'll just say, that is why I am stunned. This is an extraordinary talent developed with timing and dexterity that I have not seen before. Thank you for sharing this, what an inspiration. I have watched several of your video's, watching that right hand and fingers, really such a tight, disciplined and mechanically perfect orchestra. If you practice and appreciate finger-style, arpeggio's etc....then you can have a stronger appreciation for how complex and difficult it would be to play this,_ as you have Guido. Yeah some might say I am over the top and a real fan-boi, LOL! with these comments. Over years of playing and practicing specifically this type of play, I know how hard this is to do, at this level.
